THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY God: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.” Not obeying ALL 10 of our Heavenly Father’s Commandments is a very dangerous habit that most Christians & Catholics practice. The half-brother of the Messiah, through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warned against this rebellious lifestyle. He declared that if you break one of the laws, you’re guilty of all 10. James 2:10-11: “For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.” Please note that Brother James specifically quoted from the 10 Commandments to give accurate context of which set of Laws he was referring to. As children of the Most High God, we are not to cherry-pick which of His handwritten-in-stone 10 Laws we deem are worthy of our obedience. The 10 Commands are the Supreme Laws in the entire Bible. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. And the New Testament clearly teaches that our Savior and His Disciples honored the holy 7th Day Sabbath. The 7th Day is the only weekday that the Bible ever declared as blessed, hallowed, and sanctified. No Gentile Christian was ever found in Church on Sunday in the Bible. The account cited in Acts 20 was an informal gathering in the UPPER ROOM of someone’s house! It was not in the synagogue. THE NEW TESTAMENT GENTILE CHRISTIANS KEPT THE HOLY SABBATH DAY! ACTS 13:42 & 44 (KJV) “So when the JEWS went out of the synagogue, the GENTILES begged that these words might be preached to them the NEXT SABBATH. 44 On the NEXT SABBATH almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.” (Notice no mention of Sunday. The GENTILES said they’ll wait until “the next Sabbath!”) WHO CHANGED THE SABBATH? 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), the Roman Church (which would later become the Catholic Church) committed an unholy travesty. The Church of Rome literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Christians ever since. 1700 years of man-made, Commandment breaking dogma! THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths of Leviticus 23… such as Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, and 4 more. COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 6 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths! Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14:5 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. But, Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23 where God calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these 6 “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon. >>>>>>The weekly Sabbath is not one of these feast days as it was constituted even before there were any Jew or Hebrew on earth and before man falls into sin, back in Genesis. Yes, there were annual sabbaths instituted by God during Moses' time but those came after sin, and was written in parchment, placed outside the ark as a witness against the Israelites (Deuteronomy 31:26). This is also the "handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;" (Colossians 2:14). These feasts including the sacrificial system had been done away with, because if you look at these feast days & annual sabbaths & sacrificial system, all of them points them to the coming Son of God, the Messiah who will die for our sins. But now that Jesus has died and risen again, the imagery has been completed.

(Exodus 31:16) “Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.” Now read Verse 17. “It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.” The Hebrew word translated “forever” is also used in Exodus 21:5-6. “But if the servant plainly says, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free, then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.” Here the word is used of definite periods of time. So the Sabbath was to be observed only until Israel was no longer God’s chosen people, after the crucifixion of Christ.

@@royalbohemian9757 It is true that Jesus worshiped on the Sabbath. He lived as a Jew under the Mosaical Law. That law did not come to an end until his death. "having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross" (Colossians 2:14).

@@kac0404 the law did not come to an end, else all the other nine would have to be no longer required also. It was the sacrificial ordinances that was against us and contrary to us that was nailed to the cross because Jesus now went on the cross and died to take the place of all the sacrifices that was required to be paid by individuals under the Mosaic law. It is so interesting that people saw the law was nailed to the cross but yet still they would keep all but one. Sabbath was sanctified and set apart long before the Mosaic law. Hence the 10 Commandment Law says "remember". But as I said it is the only one people don't.

@Elias Mulowa Elias you read 1 Corinthians 7:19; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14; John 14:15; Jesus summed up the Ten in two commandments, and that is love the Lord, and love your neighbor. In loving the Lord, you'll keep the first four, if you love your neighbor as yourself you'll keep the last six.

To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this word, it is because THERE IS no light in them. Isaiah 8:20. A man of God will not teach people to transgress the LAW OF GOD. The Scripture says the Holy Spirit will guide us to all truth. John 16:13. Well, let's see what truth is. There's three definitions for truth in the Scriptures. They are found in Psalms 119:142, 151 = The LAW or the COMMANDMENTS is truth. John 14:6 = Jesus is truth. John 17:17 = The word is truth. Now the Holy Spirit will guide us to all truth. So obviously the Holy Spirit will guide us to the Commandments. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. So, is what Gino Jennings saying through the Holy Spirit? Absolutely not, because the Spirit will guide us to ALL TRUTH. So our Brother Gino Jennings is in error. My prayer is that his eyes will be open, and that he'll see his error.

Jesus was a Jew. He did keep the Sabbath. It was His custom. If you understand well He did not say to the Scribes and Pharisees not to keep it anymore but that the way they were treating with it was incorrect. He said to them that it was not wrong to do good on the Sabbath. He also said that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. There remaineth a rest for the people of God both physically and spiritually. Apart from resting how do you keep a day holy? God is holy and we are to be holy too right? This day was blessed and sanctified (set apart) in the beginning and told to be remembered in the 10 commandments. So how could people now come and say that is no longer to be kept?

Sabbath day keeper! I am a Christian that keeps the commandments of God, that was written with his hands. I keep no other God but the God that created the Sabbath just as he created the first day of the week. The Sabbath, the seventh day is significant to God and his people, just like adultery and worshiping other gods. This man, GJ, is leading people who are blind, straight to destruction. Spiritual wickedness in high places is the pulpit! What is he saying? Where is he when he is saying it? On the pulpit or altar. Watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing. Gen 2. V3 God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. , because he rested from all the work which he created. If sabbath means rest when you stop working to Jino Jennings. What does it mean to God and his chosen people to remember it and keep it holy? Recognize that God chose Abraham to be the father of his people to show the Gentiles the power of whom they rejected. Yes, worship God at all times, but the sabbath is a day of rest and sanctification to be kept holy unto the Almighty God. I observe the Sabbath because of grace and love for The Most High Yahusha Ha Mashiach. The Sabbath is a commandment and throughout the scriptures. I spend 6 days working and thinking about my everyday concerns. Why can't I set aside 1 day to rest in The Holy One Of Israel and feed my spirit learning and searching the scriptures? Besides, if we are to do things that are not a commandment (keep our heads covered, speak in tongues, fast and obstain from weaves, nail polish and makeup, etc ), why can't I honor an actual commandment such as The Sabbath Day (Friday at sundown until Saturday at Sundown?

His interpretation Lev 23:23 is wrong. There are other sabbaths which refers to as feast days and this one is the feast of trumpet. The weekly Sabbath has no date attached to it. Because he got this wrong his comments that follow will be incorrect. He left out some very important Bible verses on Sabbath. He appeared to quote those that go along with his preconceived opinion. God not only rested on the Seventh day but he blessed and sanctified it. I agreed that one can worship God on any day but the Sabbath day is special because He blessed and sanctified it. The New Testament is new because it is the second or more recent testament given to us and because it came after the first testament. The purpose of the Old Testament (sometimes referred to as "the law and the prophets" because it contains the Law of Moses and the words of various Old Testament prophets) was to "bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith" (Galatians 3:24). When Christ died on the cross, the Old Testament fulfilled its purpose, and the New Testament was enacted as the will of God. Therefore, the New Testament sets forth God's conditions for salvation, regulates our worship, and regulates our conduct.

That was before the death of Christ on the cross. Of course they kept the Sabbath then because those Jews were still bound by the Mosaic Law. The Mosaic Covenant is replaced with the New Covenant. Under the old covenant, sin is removed through the rituals of sacrifices; in particular, the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 16:1-34). God told His people that a new covenant would be made (Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 36:22-27). The New Covenant is made possible by our Mediator, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:6-13). Our Bibles are divided in two, the Old Testament and the New Testament. A more accurate way of describing the division in the Bible is to have the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.

The Laws of the Mosaic Covenant are fulfilled in Christ - The Law and the Sabbath were pointing to Christ, it was a shadow of what was to come, and not the substance (Colossians 2:16-17). Jesus said that He came not to abolish the law but to fulfill the law (Matthew 5:17). In fulfilling the law, He completed the law. How did He do this? Jesus fulfilled the Law by obeying the law perfectly and by completing the sacrificial system. Jesus saves to the uttermost! In what way can we offer one more sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins? Jesus pronouncement, “It is finished,” signified the completion and fulfillment of the law.

Brother Gino roasted himself by misinterpreting the Bible, Big Time. Although the warning in Revelation 22:18-19 is specific to the Book of Revelation, the principle applies to anyone who seeks to intentionally distort God’s Word. Moses gave a similar warning in Deuteronomy 4:1-2, where he cautioned the Israelites that they must listen to and obey the commandments of the Lord, neither adding to nor taking away from His revealed Word. The first 4 of the 10 Commandments is about our love for God. The last 6 are about our love for our family and others. Jesus said, if you love Me, keep My Commandment. John 14:15. Isaiah 66:23 and Isaiah 65:17 actually speaking in metaphoric terms about Christians in the church after the cross and before resurrection. Both passages speak of a new heavens and a new earth that represent the church. The new heavens and earth of Isaiah 65 & 66 are different from the New heavens and New earth spoken of in the New Testament. Sabbatarians see the expression "New heavens and new earth" Isaiah 65:17; 66:22 and assume it is post resurrection heaven. This is their primary error, and I can prove it!

If the works are the works of the flesh regarding the Sabbath rest, then explain Galatians 5:24 which states "they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." If God didn't intend for it to be a specific day to honor him then why did he specifically state a day(7th specifically)? It's not saying, that's the only day to worship him or to acknowledge him. Didn't those sins of the flesh also happen in the old testament. Jesus being the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believe (Romans 10:4), is plainly stating there is no more law given not that the law no longer applies as he stated he came to fulfill the law; not change it (Matthew 5:17). I love the teachings of Pastor Gino Jennings, I just don't get the same understanding regarding the Sabbath. I do agree if we're keeping the Sabbath but breaking any of the others laws/commands then we're guilty of breaking all the laws(James 2:10)

Jennings you are in denial of the truth😢, I'm sure you know the verses that speaks about the 7 day Sabbath which is the 4th Commandment🤷. But this is what you do to confuse the scripture: 1. You pick the wrong verse to begin with, a verse that talks about ceremonial law (blow of trumpets). All you explanation is off because of the wrong verse. 2. He makes the Sabbath about worship alone. God is worshipped everday, that's true but the Sabbath is not just about worship but it's a hold day, it's set aside, it's sanctified, we are expected to STOP EVERYTHING that is of our own work and pleasure and focus on God and His work, you reconnect yourself with Him and His holiness. This can't be done everyday. 3. He defines "resting from work" as "resting from sin". This is wrong!! If you read properly, the "works" defined in the Sabbath topics, is the normal day to day works, not the works of sinning" I won't even start quoting the verses that Jennings could have used to better explain the Sabbath, the earlier comments have already done that.
