I just visited Colombia and travelled to Medellín. Looking for an Orthodox shul i was introduced to R. Elad. I davened there for about a month. There are I think, about 300 families of extremely modest means but fully committed to Judaism. I said I'd try to collect money to donate Chumashim and siddurim but I'm thrilled to learn that R. Gold is well connected and this dream is now reality. Next goal, remodel or rebuild. The house (shul) is way too small for the community... I know HaShem listens. As an added note, one member bakes challot for the community and they make their own grape juice, etc. Since commercial wine and kosher products are very expensive they learn and they solve the problems. I consider it a privilege to have had the honor to daven there. Thank you for spreading the word about these amazing group of Jews.

@@Hughf2Hugh, I believe this man is like I am. I am a Christian. That said, I would give up my very life for the Jews and/or Israel. There is scripture in OUR new testament that tells us, once we become believers in the Yeshua, that we automatically are grafted into the tree and become spiritual Jews. I think this is what the man….in his heart…..is doing, however, he sounds extremely young and in his heartfelt endeavor, he thinks that by following Jewish tradition, it makes him CLOSER to the Jewish people and nation that he loves. Just a wee bit overzealous is what I call it. But, pure in his heart. By the way, TRUE Christians are standing with you about the evil Hamas folks. I am thrilled beyond words that Netanyahu is not giving in to the pressure from USA’s administration. Ever heard of Behold Israel ? I am a secular Jew and I live in Israel. One day when I was out in my neighborhood feeding feral cats, an Arab man who worked in the neighborhood came towards me. He congratulated me for helping the cats and told me that he knows that his ancestors had converted from Jewdaism to Islam and that he is a Jew. This led me to learn about the phenomenon and I came across with Tsvi Misinai who published books about it and says that 90% of the Arabs living west to the Jordan river are Jews who converted to Islam

What Israel needs to do is stop being so defensive and start to go on the Offats. When this war is over. Aza should be made Jewish again. All of Judaea and Samaria must be under total control of Israel, as it is the aboriginal, Jewish lines, the Jewish heartland of the nation. What happens to the Arabs there? I don't give a shit about. a remarcable story. The inquisition was a very unfortunate event in the history of the church. many people, instead of facing the freedom which the cross of Christ was meant to bring to the world brought to people pain and forced changes to their lives having to give up precious beliefs, etnicity and traditions. I appreciate the convictions and genuinety of the pastor. I appreciate as well the fact that instead of losing heart whn captured by kidnappers the pastor pored over the scriptures which brought him strength and hope and the realisation that he was not alone. However I find it pitiful that the pastor ( so a trained person in the knowledge of the scriptures) instead of accepting his judaism as the preliminary step to Christ , he felt compelled to exclude him and even reject him, eventually leading to a mass exodus from christianity to judaism. I am a catholic but in love with israel, the bible and jewish traditions and celebrations. we hold the pesah as an important event in the family calender even though I know of no other family that celebrates it as a jewish ritual meal. I study hebrew and pray in hebrew reciting the shema daily etc. for me judaism is the promise fulfilled in christianity. I cannot understand that the pastor, who supposedly knew the scriptures well, knew that all the prophets prophesied the messiah and all the prophesies were fulfilled in Jesus, felt that instead of embracing judaism but retaining the lord Jesus as the target of judaism, felt the need to reject Christ the light in order to embrace the shadow......the promise, the announcement. I ask you dear pastor to reflect on what I am sharing with you. in the meantime may Ha shem bless you and your community with light from above. may jesus whom you served but rejected visit you like he did Paul and show you how much he loves you and how much you mean to him. May he also show you your role in the spread of his name, even today among your fellow jews. Judaism is not contrary to Jesus. it leads to Jesus. Embracing Judaism as the religion of your ancestors should not force you to give up your messiah, the only redeemer of the world, the perfect jew, with a heart of flesh for the Father who was given to mankind as a reconciliation lamb. the tenach promised us the messiah. the father sent him. judaism reaches its climax in Jesus. be a messianic jew.

Perhaps you have not yet studied/learnt the history of the early church and the influence, power and motivation of the Roman Emperor Constantine I ( and founder of Constantinople ) that resulted in the "divinification" of Jesus / Yeshua the Jewish man by a vote of church bishops attending the First Council of Nicaea (now Iznik, Turkey) in the year 325 and expressed in the Nicene Creed that they formulated. Psalm 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: **they pierced my hands and my feet.** 17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18 **They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.** I pray he turns from "religious works" under the law to salvation through Messiah as we are saved by Grace through Faith, not of works.

As a Cohenim Jew I agree with everything said in this short film except the renouncing of Yeshua as Messiah. Yeshua is the messiah of Israel. Read Psalm 22, Isaiah 53. Zechariah 12:20 days “Then I will pour out on the house of David and on the people of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and prayer, and they will look on Me, the One they have pierced”

agreed, that pastor should ve read the book of Galatians. they went from freedom in messiah to bondage to the law. the law doesn't save

Common sense tells me that one who couldn't save himself can't save the Jews or the world. The Rabbis of that decided Jesus wasn't the Messiah and this was elaborated by Maimonides who clearly showed that Jesus did not fulfil the Halakhic requirements. The State of Israel, now 9 million strong and growing, being the beginning of Jewish redemption was achieved without Jesus or Mohammed. ניט געפלויג'ן און ניט געשטויג'ן.😊😊😊😊
