Yep, Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson, and Steve Nicks are my favs of all-time. Pat was also a 5 octav singer I believe. Her Classical training paid off huge in R&R. One of the few time Brad shows emotion/reactions during the songs Ive seen at 3:32... Pat has them all under her spell. Brad appreciates the voice ; )

her mother was an opera singer, and Pat benefitted from classical voice training - which carried over into rock - which helped temper that badass belting range that she has. This song has always been a banger - but "Love Is a Battlefield" will always be my favorite.

She has some great rock songs on "Seven the Hard Way" including "Sex as a Weapon" and the grunge/punkish "Red Vision". Wide Awake in Dreamland has a good number of hard rock songs as well as Gravity's Rainbow from 1993. Research can be your friend!

I had all of her vinyl albums when I was a teenager. They played on my record player in my room over and over...and I played them turned up as loud as I could. Loud is the only way to listen to her with the earphones on of course. I loved her so much. She was excellent in concert too. We share a birthday too. Love this very talented lady. She’s married to the guitar player also. Still married to this day.

This is from 1979. She married the guitarist/co-song writer in 1982. They are still together and often perform as a duo. He's also a very underrated guitarist as he could play like this, but played however was best for the song which often meant you wouldn't even have a solo.

When this album came out, I did EXTRA chores for extra allowance to buy this album!!! This woman was trained in opera & has a 4 octave voice! Her husband had to pull her out of her comfort zone & into doing rock. I, for one, am so glad she made that move! 🤩
