@Mongoose 1980 Aipac definitely has done questionable things but so have pretty much every lobbying group. The NRA, Planned Parenthood, the Teachers Union, and NAACP. Furthermore the amount of 'jewish' money in politics is very small relative to the organizations I mentioned above. So claim that Jews have to much influence is patently false and disingenuous.

no comparison- hence the "great" recession. Also explains Trump. Remember, Trump ran under Reform Part in '00 and lost to Pat Buchanan. Pat got less than 0.X% of the total vote. In contrast, by '16 people were really fed up and went with a very non-traditional GOP Candidate, who was not a W neo-con and more in line w/ Perot or Buchanan (+ Reagan on steroids) among others.

Not Trump, although he is not a neoconservatice, is closer to the neoconservatives than to the paleoconservatives like Patrick Buchanan. Pat Buchanan is a traditionalist Catholic opposed to the intervention of the USA in the Middle East and opposed to the "special relationship" between the USA and Israel while Trump is a pioneer-styled Protestant who is supporting Benyamin Netanyahu in the Middle East against the Palestinians, the Syrians and Iran.

I would say like the first Protestant pioneers who came to America (or those who pushed back the fronteer into the West during the XIXth century). Trump is not a neoconservative anymore but he has some strong zionist pattern due to his family's links (especially his son-in-law Jared Kushner, an eminent zionist Jew) and keeps on defending the war party (falcons of war) interests in the Middle East, especially against Iran, what is not the case of Patrick Buchanan. Trump has the mentality of a protestant pioneer, the same mentality than the one of the pioneers who conquered the West of the current USA territory. @@bigol9223

What i will never be able to understand is what would cause Trump to enthusiastically embrace the extremely pernicious political aspects of Patrick Buchanan-ism.

Japan, 1992, the "superpower." Just as it hit the wall. 4 years later the US was dominating the new internet economy and Japan was done as a "superpower."

Just a few weeks before the 4th and final McLaughlin Group parody on SNL, where Dana Carey's cantankerous, old and bombastic clone of John McLaughlin roasted Phil Hartman's Pat Buchanan, having lost the N.H. primary to President Bush, Sr.! Towards "Live From New York", Buchanan furiously stormed off, to which McLaughlin said, " Knock 'em dead in Connecticut! Bye-bye!". Ahhhhhhh, 1992! What a year for politics! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Pat Buchanan: Proto-Trump (Version 1.0) Revised nomenclature: Donald Trump: 2nd Prototype - Buchanan Redux (Version 2.0, Demagogue Reboot). Unmufflered verbosity glitch in matrix: pipelined implementation of pre-sentient algorithms and polymorphic encryption indicated to correct architectural flaw. Software updates and service packs pending.
