Redskins since 74 and If we could had a little more speed at defensive back early 70’s we might have been a lil better but we were old but I love those early years we should have beat Miami in SB 7 the ball hit the Goal and They knew what we were doing shouldve won but coaching beat us we couldnt move the ball Larry Brown they keyed on They were evenly matched..But what’s a shame is they keep keeping Jerry Smith out for some reason and his number our Hall worthy..But I guess he was Gay is the reason...The Hall is a joke

Super Bowl VII , He took out the great guard #66 Larry little on running plays allowing the linebacker a clean shot at the backs. We have these big mouths in the Hall of Fame , Pat Fisher didn't need to brag , he hit the respect into you .

You get no argument from me he let his play speak for itself.I would have put him on the track team while in college at Nebraska he could have been the forerunner to Darryl Green.

At age 12, playing football with neighborhood kids in the backyard in the mid-60s, Paul Green often took the name "Pat Fischer" when on defense. I think he usually announced that he was Ray Berry when he lined up to play wide receiver on offense. During my in-game commentary, I became Kermit Alexander when on defense, Pat Studstill when on offense.

So does the Hall of Fame. Don't make another mistake like you did with Kenny Stabler. Put Pat Fischer on the HOF while he is still with us so he can get the accolades and respect this man has earned.

It's not the size of the man in the fight that matters It's the size of the fight in the man. I met George Blanda as a young boy and he told me and my brother never let someone tell you you're not good enough and if you work hard to achieve your goals, anything is possible. Pat Fisher was living proof of those statements. Every little guy growing up should watch Pat Fisher film.

One of the greats and I’m saddened his health has declined. Please someone help him get voted into the NFL Hall of Fame. It’s heartbreaking to know he is forgotten largely by the modern day media and fans.

And then the George Allens Over the Hill Gang Redskins Defense with Fisher playing corner back! Man I miss the way they played football in the 60's & 70's compared to now 3 hours of commercials where once in awhile a football game breaks out!

At 3:50 of this video the narrator states: "traded to the Redskins in 1975." This statement is incorrect. Fisher played for the Skins from 1968 through to the late 70's. And though I was never a big fan of him, I also feel he belongs in the PFHOF. 17 seasons in the NFL, 14 of which he played entire seasons. He belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as does Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Otis Taylor.
