I've been listening to KPLU for over 20 yrs, since I was in Jr. High school. It's too bad they don't play music 24/7 over the radio, with a few minutes of news per hour.

Pat Martino is the only one that can JUST ABOUT fill Joe Pass's shoes! Non-stop melody lines that are NEVER BORING or choppy! Most jazz guitarists don't play smooth lines for some reason! They'll play 5 or ten staccato notes, then STOP for a few measures & repeat the same process. That takes away from the flow, the smooth melody. Take Larry Carlton & how he gives you the chills from his style! His lines are always fluid, very smooth, emotional! Music is supposed to go from ear-to-heart!!!
