2gether Again .. as promised way back in 76. How Pat survived his journey i'll never fully appreciate .. been well documented elsewhere. His tone "now" is dark & 4 me saddening like memories just outa reach. Rest in Peace Pat

Had the privilege of studying jazz with him for 4 months in the early 70's. I have listened to other guitarists from the Dennis Sandole tree (I was an Adolph Sandole student for 8 years); IMHO, Martino is the only one who seems to have derived real value from the obtuse , eccentric teaching structures of Dennis and created a truly SENSITIVE sensible ability to create melody . Rest in Peace Pat. Many thanks .
