For Pat, a quarterback getting a potentially career threatening injury was one of the most important days of his life; for the Colts, it was Wednesday.

Try being a Bears fan watching Fields go down. At least Colts fans have recent memories of a GOAT like Peyton Manning… the Bears are truly cursed. Never once had a franchise quarterback. Never once had a 4,000 yard passer or a QB throw 30 TDs in a season. We **almost** had one in Fields and he goes down with an injury and will likely be traded away.

@@Voysh2Voysh69 Dude, that is the dumbest comment. You could’ve possibly made Colts fans lost out on Peyton bringing more championships to Endy due to injury. Then we turned around and drafted Andrew luck only to get him played three or 44 years may be a couple more than that at most, just to retire very early due to injury, and now, this! And you have the audacity to say imagine being a Bears fan watching Justin Fields? You should’ve said, imagine being a Bears fan and never in your history having a decent quarterback.

Florida fans knew for a long time that this kid's body was fragile. There's a reason we didn't draw up more run plays for him. He dealt with a major hamstring injury for a very long time that they didn't want released. He'd always limp after any minor contact. The Colts should've done their homework before drafting this kid.

Didn't even win those games? Richardson hasn't done squat. Hell, Wentz did more as a Colt and that was a horrible season. Still he was better than the guy before him and the guy after him. As a Colts fan, all I needed to see was that Week 4 game against the Rams. Yes, they did lose that game, but that's not the point, and also not his fault. That alone told me everything I needed to see and hear. Anthony Richardson will be a solid QB for this Colts organization. He will do amazing things, and this gamble will pay dividends. BUT let's face fantasy with facts. The Colts entered Week 1 with many people saying they had a "outside chance" to make it into the playoffs. I myself was fully expecting a year of learning with this young and fresh team. I was fully expecting a guy from Gatorland with only ten or so games of experience to fall flat in the bigs, but AR impressed me with his football IQ, his ability to lead his team, and his ability to be a dual threat on the field. Sure, he may appear injury prone, but look at WHY he was getting injured and not how. He was trying to play to his strengths. He was trying to be the best version of himself for his team. It's how the Colts got back against the Rams and tied the game. Had the Rams not scored or they hit a FG, I think AR would have won that game for his team. I wholeheartedly believe in him, and every Colts fan should, too.

Anytime you don’t let a HOF who made you ride out into the sunset with you as long as they please…you will be cursed. look at Pats, look at colts.

It’s not that the Colts are cursed. You guys fell for the hype, AR was injury prone in college , and it’s no different in the NFL.
