The more I’ve seen of this palette Tara the more it’s grown on me. Colourful palettes are growing on me especially if there are two or three matt browns in different tones and shades to go with those bright shimmers. The looks you created were absolutely beautiful and no, you’re not the only one who chooses a shimmer first and then builds the matts around it, I do that too!🥰💜

So beautiful ❤ I was going to take a few more days, and I was talking to my hubby. I was sobbing and said "How can I can back to filming. Everything reminds me of her" he said "Remember when your grandpa passed away, she advised you to use your channel as an outlet to get through the pain, she would want you to do that" he is right. Creating content was therapeutic for Mel, it helped her escape what she was going through and it got her through some of her darkest times. Kelsee mentioned in her video she would want her to continue on and I have no doubt, the way to remember her and continue on her legacy is to continue to do what we all love❤ In remembrance of her🦋🙏 i had to take several breaks, but i knew I had to get back on the horse and get back to doing what we love❤

Tara, I think about you everyday, Along with Theresa. I think of Mels children and family as well. People in my day to day life, don’t understand this grief we all have. We all watched and communicated with Mel so much for many years. We all loved her so much. My favorite thing about watching Mel, is her enthusiasm about make up. She would get me excited about a blush. She executed the most amazing eye looks and was so stunning. Thank you, Tara for giving us a safe place to talk about Mel. I think this is a beautiful palette, however I'm more interested in the quads, highlighter etc because I'll get more use out of them. I can't wait for your review. This was my first Pat McGrath purchase and I’ve been watching several videos for help. Yours has been the most helpful for me. I’m struggling with this palette. To be fair, I’m still new to learning how to properly apply eyeshadow and use the right brushes and so forth. But the eyeshadow is so different than any other brand I’ve ever tried. It’s hard to explain but I can’t get them to look good basically. I don’t regret buying this palette at all but I’m a little disappointed. I suppose I expected it to be the most perfect thing ever, especially for the price. There’s a lot of fallout which took me by surprise. The peach shade that you used in look #2, which you made it look gorgeous BTW, but I hate it on me. I think it’s bland and dry and flaky. Just not a fan of it. The green shade is by far my favorite to use but it’s messy and always transfers way up above my crease. It’s almost like a pressed glitter kind of mess for me. I’m still learning and not giving up! I’m thankful for the tips I picked up in your video so thank you. I hope you do make another video on this palette. I’d love to see more looks with the blue and the light purplish shade. :-)

Yes!!! I think it was Mac 121? They used to have natural brushes and then they switched their brushes to synthetic, which sucked. I didn’t pick up the last collection and I wasn’t going to pick up this palette, but I’ve changed my mind after a few of the videos I have recently watched. I’ve been working in the office once a week (miss being in my work office and getting dressed) so this will be perfect for ease of completing my makeup. The looks you created were very pretty. I’m waiting for my replacement palette to ship. The one I got had two damaged shades. When I opened the palette there was an explosion of “glitter”. I had it all over my counter and on me. Haha! Not how I wanted to wear the shades 😜 The bronze shade on the top row and the green shade on the bottom row were the ones that were shattered. Maybe it was rough handling by the delivery people or maybe those shades weren’t pressed down tightly enough 🤷🏻‍♀️ Loved the looks you created TaraLynn!! I’m lucky enough to have a few of the originals as I’ve been watching Mel long enough to know they were essentials! ❤️I was very happy to see Rephrs generous donation on the GoFundMe, What a great company! Tara Lynn, you created fabulously beautiful looks as usual! I have this palette and used it yesterday and I really really like it! I do have last year‘s and I completely get what you’re saying about it. I pull it once in a while- I don’t mind using purples and such in small small amounts balanced with neutrals, but it’s nothing compared to this years. I too am waiting for the bronze quad and a highlighter, so I will be looking forward to getting those. Thank you again so much for the excellent presentations you provide us. Beautiful eye looks. I’m just not that talented to work with such highly pigmented and standout shimmers and get a look I’d be comfortable wearing. Too many of the shadows would be wasted on me. I did order the celestial odyssey bronze luxe quad…looking forward to your review on that one

That peachy shade!😍🤩 The one thing I love about this palette is that it looks like it has colors that can be used year round. I have never used last years holiday palette. It just sits in my collection😖 I love the comparison palette swatches you do-it really shows how similar multiple palettes are.

Loved all 3 looks😍 you created. I do like the color story of this year’s holiday palette over last years, and I have enjoyed the looks I created with it. I bought about 2 of those Rephr brushes because of Mel.

I think they are beautiful but for the cost I think the fallout is too much compared to more inexpensive brands. Also a few more mattes to mix up would have been nice. On a positive note I would buy the peach shade on its own gorgeous shades!!
