You guys know I don't buy a ton of Pat Mcgrath (huge fan but painful pricetag) but THIS was a satisfying purchase. I have a thing for purple-pinks, but it's not easy to work stronger pink tones into a palette without things going too "party-girl". Divine Rose II by Pat Mcgrath is just edgy enough to look grown-up (in my opinion anyway), and you do have some options for slightly warmer looks, although it's still mainly a cool/pink palette. If you are thinking of buying this, you should be really sure that you will get mileage out of the strong shades. Otherwise it would be a bit of a waste for the pricetag.

Thank you so much for making this video! Your swatches and review really helped me. I love how straight to the point you are with the review and appreciate the tip of applying her special shades wet. I really disliked the fallout from Bronze Seduction when used dry. Your review also makes me second guess whether or not I should buy it because everyone else calls it warm toned. I'm so sorry I missed your message last week! I think color theory in makeup is confusing cos sometimes what we call "cool" in makeup (pinks and purples) is not real cool in a strict colour theory sense. (Red is warm on a color chart, and purple is half warm half cool since it's red + blue, but we still consider it a cool tone because it suits people with a pink undertone.) I think the best gauge is whether you have clothing being in the purples, pinks, blues, greys category and if you wear those colors about at least 1/4 to 1/3 of the time. If you do, I'd say you can get some mileage out of pink toned makeup in general! As for Bronze Seduction, I'd call it a rose gold more than a bronze! (Which suits most people.)

The triochrome sextraterrestrial is the only reason I got this palette. Looks gorgeous on you. Love both looks. Not keen on celestial divinity tho. Don’t like the packaging. Too many shades, arranged in a way that is not appealing to me. I’m actually very interested in more looks from this palette and the Midnight Sun

Hey Bella, same!! LOL Sextraterrestrial is the diamond on the whole piece. Yeah, I ended up not using Celestial Divinity that much cos I think I'm over the overly-large palettes now. It's a little overwhelming and most times I ended up with either a plummy-purple or olive golden-green look no matter how I combined the colors. Glad you looked the vid and I'll see if I can pull it out for more looks!

Oh that's a random metal Fitbit strap I got off Aliexpress HAHAHAHAHA!! I'm glad you like it! If you have an Apple watch or Fitbit, you can just google "rose gold strap" on Aliexpress and it should bring up all the options!

Hahahah I found Xtreme Burgundy a little hard! But then I spend a bit of time beforehand touching and testing each shade so I know how it moves or blends, so it’s easier by the time I start applying it! (I at least know to avoid using certain colors as socket or lid shades by then.) 😉
