Uno de mis guitarristas preferidos. Desde el Jazz hasta la luna, el sonido inconfundible de sus riff, nada que ver con los de este género, pasará a la historia como un gran maestro.

Last album with Danny Gottlieb. Paul Wertico started touring around this time, if memory serves.

+Todd Mason This isn't on an album but rather from a concert in 1981. Travels was the last album Danny Gottlieb did, which was recorded in 1982 and released in 1983. Gottlieb left in 1982 and Wertico started in 1983, then recorded First Circle in 1984.

The middle part of this tune was later recorded on the Offramp album, and it does have some drums. The rest was never recorded.

I would say it's inspired by Flight of the Phoenix, but Pat and Lyle have made this their own tune.

Uau, synth guitar in 1981, really pioneering!. I' don't know exactly but there was serious latence problems then. I would not be surprised if in addition Metheny had to learn to play a little "ahead" to overcome this issue.
@gupta768 жыл бұрын
I think that's exactly what he did. Amazing!

no latency for the gr300 roland, it uses the pickup signal as waveform for synth
