What are you doing in Egypt in the 80s? On the other hand, the '80s were a great time. I'm sure the time you spent there left wisps in your soul you'll never forget. And that is composed dither life. Moments that, good or bad, make you happy to remember. Greetings from Santiago de Chile.

I listened to this song a lot during a trip I took to Egypt back in the 80s. My gramps, or “old man” as I used to call him, my friend from high school, one of my old man’s friends, a man from France, and myself all stuck together as a group and had many good times there. It was the last time I got to spend with my old man, his friend or even my high school friend come to think of it :(. Me and John became really good friends and still keep in touch to this day. Good grief, this takes me back to the good ole days.

Since the next 1000 comments are gonna be all about Jojo, I guess I'll explain. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a long-running Japanese comic that started in the 80s (and is still going on now) that was recently adapted into an anime. The comic is partially famous for the insane number of musical references, and as the author is a huge fan of classic rock and western music in general, the endings of the new anime have been western music. The first ending was Roundabout by Yes, the second was Walk Like an Egyptian by the Bangles, and this is the third ending.

I played this everyday on piano the week leading up to the day we had to put our dog we had for 14 years, Max, to rest. We got him when I was 8, so theres not much of my life where Max wasnt there. He grew up with me, saw me through everything, he was my little brother. and no matter how shitty or miserable a day was, whenever i saw Max wag his tail or when i scratched his ears or heard him bark it made me happy and every bad feeling went away even for just that moment. Max always loved listening to piano, and playing this song for him helped me say goodbye for now, until we meet again and i also take my last train home. I love you forever Max

I grew up near trains in a small town south of my country and that recorded in every corner of my heart sounds that accompany me even today, 50 years later. there are no trains here, but still dream of that time and the beloved people of that time. This theme of Pat always made me feel a great melancolía and so look for images to share. Greetings from Santiago de Chile.

julio radrigan Thank you my friend. I remember a Lodge a family had that only referred Customers were allowed to visit for fine dinners. It was family run and in West Central Alabama, After dinner I went out on the back porch enjoying a full moon over their farmland and having a smoke after stuffing myself on an incredible home cooked Dinner. It was 1975 or so and I heard a distant Steam engine whistle traveling north to south and a unique technique. We had a long way home that evening an my girlfriend an I were in the back seat of here parents car, and they were driving. Later I heard that song for the first time and adopted it as my own. There had been 6 Engineers in my mothers family and a Great Grandfather that was a Confederate Steam engineer was their grandfather during the Civil war in USA. The young men of the family all became Train Engineers starting back in the Turn of the Century and untill the local industry closed after a Century of production. So suddenly so many thing lined up for me when I heard that song. I remember my Uncles telling me how a Steam engine was from an era when such things were alive and deserved respect as such. And how they bonded with their Engines they shared the journey's with. So this song touched my soul when I heard it the first time. It will always be in my heart and soul. Again, I thank you for your lovely post, I had almost lost faith in KZbin with all the childish people here using it as a way to argue and get attention, And now I can remember the better places here again. May I offer another Artist I enjoy as well? Try some Suzanne Cianni her earlier work, And the work without the word Waves in the titles are more pleasant to me. Try Neverland or the Velocity of love as a start and see if you enjoy. And greeting from Atlanta Georgia!

Thank you very much for answering my friend. The wonderful thing about the net is that you find people with the same interests than oneself. Life is like a journey on a train, with its stations, Change of routes, differing scenes, and accidents! At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, And we believed they would always travel at our side. However, at some station down the line our parents stepped off, Leaving the train and us alone to continue on our own. As time passed, other people boarded the train; And they were significant: siblings, friends, children, And even the Love of our life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we didn’t realize That they had vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, Expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all the Passengers … requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is: we don’t know at which station We ourselves will be asked to step off. So we must live In the best way - Love, forgive, and offer the best of whom We are. It is important to do this, because when the time Comes for us to exit, leaving our seat empty, we should Leave behind beautiful memories for those who will Continue riding the train of life without us. I wish you a joyful journey for the remaining years on Your train of life. Reap success, give lots of love, and Be happy. More importantly, be thankful for your journey! Lastly, I thank you for being one of the passengers On my train. AUTHOR UNKNOWN
