I am training a horse right now that used to do that. all. the. time. I have found that when I stand really far behind her...(really chasing her lol)...she does really really well, I am chasing her away like danninsilver said but I am giving her a place to go which is crucial! now after just a few days she lunges really close to perfectly! Also make sure you are giving her enough line to lunge on. Hope that helps!

I cannot get my horse to lunge in a circle whenever i try to he just turns into me facing me, he will pivot on hiss hind legs while continually facing me. does anyone have a solution to this problem?
