Let’s say he was an offensive lineman in the NFL and he stopped giving his full effort blocking pass rushers? Too many GMs let players get away with conduct that should be punished severely. If you pay a player to play and he doesn’t give 100% on purpose, then he deserves a suspension. Jimmy Butler negotiated a contract his options are to ask for a trade privately and hoop until he either gets traded or his contract expires.

None of you guys have ever played for the heat, and as far as I know Nick is the only champion on there, and none of you guys have ever ran an organization like Pat Riley y'all have no resume to even question what Pat Riley or the heat front organization does..... I'm not saying Pat Riley is right with not getting Jimmy any help...BUT.. I also respect the fact that the heat front office is not pushovers they don't just let any Star Diva player go there and run the organization like other front offices do... if you play for the heat they have a system they have a certain way they do things if you don't like it then don't play for them..... there are 30 teams in the NBA if you don't want their money I'm sure there are other players that do.
