Giddy is a player who needs the ball in his hands potential triple double guy every night - Caruso is a great defender but not the greatest play maker and can’t really get his own shots - there is a trade off but only 21 vs 30 I am making that trade - but Giddy better be in the gym working on that 3 ball😂😂😂

The Bulls will give Giddy the keys to start and that seems to have been promised if you view the comment from the OKC Thunder ownership when they let him go. The Thunder said Giddy asked for a trade because he did not want to be a "rotational" player so the Bulls will put the ball in his hands. This is no longer even about Coby. Giddy will be a key piece of a rebuild which is why his contract extension can go as high as $225 million. He probably will not get that but don't be surprise if the offense is built around him as the key piece.

Personally, I don't dislike the trade. To be more accurate, I don't mind the trade. However, to not try to get a future 1st round pick as well, one that didn't even need to be for this year's draft, is souring. Caruso was our best trade piece and we gave him up for 1 player? Granted, Giddey is just 21, 6'8, a suitable replacement for Caruso at PF (I'm joking but we know what Billy likes to do with small players 😒) and Giddey still has a lot of potential, but as coveted as Caruso was, I feel we could have waited a little longer for a team to offer a better deal that included draft picks. Now ,if this was the best deal out there, then okay. But, if so, this is just another example of piss poor team management. And the blame goes to everyone in the front office, ownership included. Not just AK.

Facts, yes of course I agree with the people we could have got more value for Caruso if we traded him earlier, but we didn't so I'm happy with Giddey he is productive and is going to ballout for our Bulls.

No one is making the argument that Giddey is better than Caruso because isn't. But let's be clear here if the Bulls were making win now moves Caruso wouldn't be on his way out. Giddey isn't terrible he's flawed as hell but as stated in the show tbe goal if thus trade may not be for giddey to even stay here long term

Why not get that compensation if you are building for the future. At least 3 or 4 2nd round picks. Nothing! My beef was not so much with you and Pat. It's with this whole Giddey is 21 and 6'8" that people keep pushing as if that's so great. They need to realize Patrick Williams is 21 or 22 and 6'8" and they don't want to resign him. One thing I will say is that AKME got fleeced. And they are WORSE than GarPax.

This is not a good fit for the Bulls offense because we don’t spread the floor we don’t push the ball and we don’t shoot 3s well. Now from a cap space perspective it’s perfect because at 30 Chicago wasn’t going to pay him what other teams would So this is a salary dump

No doubt Giddy is a very good prospect but the Bulls got fleeced for not acquiring great capital when you send them a win now guy on a win now team. Who fits exactly what OKC needs. Add that to the fact OKC has the MOST draft capital of any tan and you get none!!!? AK most have been asleep during negotiations. Finally, the league knows it’s time to make moves so why would anyone pay premium when you already announced it? It’s stupid on the part of AK. This franchise is poorly run from top to bottom! Fans continue going to games and support this mediocrity and that’s why this team will continue being who they are!
