@@polarninja238 ah yes the mana issue. I tend to get mage enemies on top XD, so I only use q + e and then Auto attack and e out of fight 15 sec later. No mana problems here. Otherwise, just buy corrupting Potion right at the beginning (you would have to back frequently tho) and ur OP as orrn

I think melee minions can take two tower shots and have enough to hit and kill. It's the ranged ones that need a hit before tower shot, because if you won't hit them they'll have two hits amount of health left.

I found that you have 2 options when fighting sett. One is defensive, one is to probably win, both are all about predicting his e So the first is to e further when he e you, or if your blade is near you to W so he cant hit you with q while you are stunned, cause e causes stun also... Then hit him hard The second option, is to predict his e, and e on him before he does his e, So e, q hit hit and then w so he cant hit with q, and then back away cause he will prob w You must do this at least 2 times to kill him

Actually grasp of the undying give you bonus HP so you really dont need to take HP rune. Also you was 119 out of 120 to get the extra bonus so as soon as you go back to lane, you will get that warmorg passive active

@@wolololer as a garen player, at the beginning of the game (lvl 1-6) ur passive is very bad, but the longer you play, the stronger it gets. Garen has a power spike on level 12 anyway and on that level I believe he Regens 7% health in 5 seconds out of combat, so as a lvl 12 and higher garen, you can constantly harass and roam without any heal (if you r fed). Or you can just ducksit in your tower and never back :)

@Levi Elric the weakness of warmogs is that it’s pure hp. It could be effective on an adc who builds black cleaver or something idk, but that will hinder his damage early. HP is a very fickle stat to build. If you don’t stack it with proper resistance then you are going to get smacked by max HP damage.

A GAME theory! Makes sense. Warmogs, Titanic Hydra and a Bami's Cinder for max. waveclear to splitpush. Gargoyle's Stoneplate might also synergize well.

@@ColbyJacked Shen has no physical damage outside titanic Hydra and base auto attacks. Q is magic damage and the key damage source, Sanguine only works for physical, so most your damage wont heal you. If you want to have split pressure, I think just go demolish in runes. I think you should always go demolish unless its a really hard lane where shieldbash is needed to get you extra edge in trades. If you want better dueling I think Nashors + Riftmaker is the way to go, but tank Shen is still best.

@@yuyu-by2by yes, since kleds dismounted hp can't increase, all of skaarls health plus bonus health from items contribute towards titanic hydras damage(2% bonus hp) aswell, there isn't a single champ in the game that gets as much ad from titanic in game bar a Sion/cho'gath that has stacked, and even then it isn't as quickly as kled gains it. If you pair this with a warmogs + titanic + gore/sunfire kled ends up with way more ad than any other champion running those same items, you can become a 3khp+200ad+ champ with only 2 damn items.

As an ornn player, going warmogs second is my go to due to ornns passive (10% increase from all bonus stats including health, so frostfire into warmogs works perfectly especially with grasp), but to see SHEN be able to go warmogs FIRST, bruh moment.

its great information to know viable ways to trigger the warmog passive, but I dont think its the best first item pick. You just lose so much value in terms of kill potent, pressure, wave clear, presence, etc. youre sacrificing a lot that just for ooc sustain in lane. but that's just my 2 cents, feel free to disagree.

Revitalize always slightly better than overgrowth once you reach mid-late game. The point of taking overgrowth is just to get shen to the threshhold for the warmog passive

if u build warmongs 1st item that gives u so much bonus hp,then u can build titanic hydra second cuz u get so much AD cuz of that bonus hp, u dont even need bami cinder or ur mythic item till like 20 min in game,plus u can go with buffed divine sunderer and do even more dmg,get more cd and have tons of BONUS hp, witch means u can finish ur build with gargoyle stonplate and had 1000000 shiedl and tons of resistances,actualy crazy how little buff on some item like warmongs can impact so much,specialy with shen cuz his PASSIVE, E , AND STAND UNITED scale with HP....ty xPetu u make crazy,awesome and fun videos, -D23KY, Shen main ;D

I just discovered this channel and Shen, and I already love both. So positive, and I really loved the concept of fault vs responsibility! I also have a question, especially about the riftmaker build: how greedy would it be to go cosmic drive as third item? It’s true that it only gives 200 hp and 75 ap, but because you are above 160 ap, will give you extra ms and most importantly a total of 40 haste in one item. That with Riftmaker gives you 65 haste, which is 40% off your ultimate, which now also shields a lot. Your other abilities also are available much more now. You could maybe then continue to build spirit visage, warmogs, or possibly the more bizarre demonic embrace, which would give ~20 of both resistances in team fights, 350 HP, AP, and a burn to top it off. Regardless, you'll go from a cripplingly long ult cd to a very reasonable cd, while also empowering your q, having all of your skills more often, and not being that much less tanky.

What would be your "standard" build nowadays? Warmogs first seems extremly good in nearly all matchups... or do you prefer riftmaker/sunfire builds? It feels great using this Warmog rush strategy even against tanks. Most top tank abuser players go for the generic builds and that's alright but they forget about the max hp forbidden Warmog's technology, so they get outscaled! Big brain Petu strikes again :D (btw i finally reached Gold in my main account. Currently Silver 2 69 LP in my second account)

I'm super worried that every class will poach warmogs since you only need to invest 2 items(warmog+everfrost+dorans viktor, or moonstone+redemption,+warmog soraka, or goredrinker,+warmog talon). All-in slap fights and very degenerate wide map, long game macro plays are going to be the only 2 states between baron fights vs just scaling.

was the play around 7 min actually correct? you should cancel setts tp then just tap your ult. You correctly assume that your team will win but you popping ult grants a shield, sett breaks your tp you do exactly what you do here gain exp and minions while living BUT now you ALSO get 2 assists worth of exp and gold from shielding the jinx that just double killed the enemy botlane. or am i missing something?

I'm a support main, but play Top from time to time, mainly Shen - I was trying to explain to my friend why Ignite top works, especially when I am terrible at Teleport (I can never seem to use it at the right times and end up wasting it). The utility of having a way to secure kills, reduce healing, and also being able to use it defensively (mind games the enemy into backing off), plus, much lower cooldown than TP

I had the idea to build warmogs -> knights vow on supports since I think both are underrated items. Not just on tanks, but on champions like yuumi or soraka. That way you can front line and protect your adc while having infinite sustain in between fights from warmogs. I did the math, and the damage mitigated from knights vow is equal to about 2.5 heals from yuumi with moonstone, and that's assuming knights vow yuumi isn't healing the adc at all, so it really gives them an unexpected amount of tankiness, as well as being tanky yourself.

Actually you were okay with just grasp. You don't even need overgrowth. 10/12 grasp procs and you have the hp you need with bonus health runes.

Jajaja he was so happy from minute 1 😂😂 knwoing he will have some stupid HP regen , but then the game was no long enougth to use it. Suffering from success ☹

Petu I think you have done an excellent job developing this shen technology for us, however If you are willing to branch out I believe you can take it a step further. The essence of this technology is abusing warmogs during the laning phase, so any solution to reduce the time it takes to complete your item is a massive improvement. My own suggested improvement after watching this video would be to try Ornn. Ornn has several massive benefits that will improve this strategy, the most obvious being is he gets an additional 10% bonus health meaning he only needs to purchase 1k health in items. Ornn is also much more incentivized to remain in lane to abuse the warmogs through his passive, and in addition to allowing him to simply never leave lane this will also mean you do not have to wait for a good recall in order to purchase your warmogs. Lastly Ornn benefits from similar max health scaling as shen. By bringing the same rune page you have brought with shen, and starting dorans shield, I found that after 6 activations of grasp of the undying and 113 minions proccing overgrowth in the practice tool ornn reached 1103 bonus health by level 9, meaning there is no need to complete an addition ruby crystal. While I am as much of a fan as anybody of your shen gameplay I think you might have a lot of fun with those crucial extra minutes abusing warmogs in lane.
