The video didn't go over it, but the 23 Ascension passes for the ultimate edition have a value of $250 usd, but only costs $99 and has a bunch over other 'free' stuff included.

Man I hate Smite (mainly due to the community, maybe because I've never been ranked). One of the few purchases I have never regretted, however, was the founder's pack. Every time I come back, there are so many gods to play that I spend 3 hours just looking through them all trying to know what I'm up against.

Yea the ultimate God Pack was a very good buy. I have gotten over 5000 game hours of entertainment for $30.

They released new updates on the ascension pass just now the passes give you extra cosmetics and mastery badges as well as a permanent worshiper boost on the god you’ve ascended as well as the ability to earn mastery stars as you “level up” the ascended god past mastery 10 also first 11 gods in alpha were casually announced

Especially taking into account the number of entertainment hours you get out of only $30 if you buy the God Pack. For me that would have been about half a penny per hour with my 5000+ hours in Smite 1.

@@GarzaGaming they have one of the best systems in the game, skins have literally 0 impact on gameplay. ALL of it is cosmetic + they give out free skins every odessy with the chest + free gems every week.

I personally believe the God Pack is an awesome value as you only pay once for entertainment that will take you until the game is no longer supported. I plan on getting the SMITE 2 Founder's Edition God Pack for sure. I just don't know which one I will pick just yet.

Ive been trying to link my xbox progress to my ps5 but it doesnt work. Now I have a whole new account for my ps5. Could anybody help me out?

I am not sure you can link the Xbox with PS5 just PC. Xbox is a Microsoft product and pretty much runs on a PC like, windows type, OS that allows it to easily work with windows based PCs. But I am just a PC Player so I not 100% on PS5. You can always try asking in our discord (Invite is in the description of any of my videos). We have Reapers from all over the world there that play on pretty much any system that mightvbe able to answer your questions.

Will Smite 2 have Arena ?

Yes it will, I am just not sure if it will be available in the beginning of the alpha. It has not been active when we were pre-alpha testing, but I was able to see it in a wire form before they disabled it in testing so I it will exist. And seeing how Arena is all I play, it better be available in the alpha launch!!! lol

Smite 2 is a completely new game so only the crossgen skins will transfer over. Smite 1 will continue to exist until an unknown time but all your skins from Smite 1 Will Not transfer to Smite 2.

Not sure what Pack you are referring to. Smite 1 and Smite2 are entirely two different games. So unless you bought one of the three Founders editions, then yes, you will need to buy a Smite 2 Founders edition or wait and get an ultimate God Pack once the game comes out in full form.

@James-ys3pp Yes if you bought a Smite 2 founder's edition pack, then you do have Smite 2. Smite2 is free to everyone, but if you bought a pack you are allowed to play it during the Alpha test weekends and when it is finally finished and released, you will have all the God's unlocked and 2X Legacy Gems.

You get all the God's forever no matter what package you get. The only difference is you get more skins and ascension passes with the ultimate. But that zeus T5 skin is pretty sweet.

Smite 1 will still exist on 2's release?

From the information I have seen, Smite 1 will continue to exist. But I think (just my thoughts) Smite 1s life will all be dependent on how many players actually continue to play it. Servers cost money monthly and I personally believe once Smite 1 is no longer profitable it will be no longer supported. But that's just my thoughts. If that is the case I think it will still have 1 to 2 years after Smite 2s release before it gets dropped. That will give Smite 2 enough time to become profitable. Now will Smite 1 continue to get updates/New Gods is the main question I would have. I know once Smite 2 comes out, I will no longer play Smite 1.

Alpha gods are the gods playable during the alpha before the closed beta in the summer

You get pay them 10-50 dollars than you get ban(7days) becouse of bugs or bad connection like on smite 1 beta,thay cant uderstand that game is bugged, servs are tresh,ppl cant play normal way.Thay decide use thair ban policyty on beta test,looks like same story with smite 2 but you even pay money for test.If thay are dount use those ''rules'' for beta it worth it.Otherway you just pay tham than you get ban.

I like Smite but I think Wild Rift did it better.... I don't like just purchasing all the gods. Earn them by grinding the game.

You don't have to buy the God's in Smite. You have the option to grind favor points and buy them that way.

Well buying a founders pack is not for everyone, nor is the Game for that matter. I think the ultimate God Pack either founders or the God Pack after the game goes live, is a very good deal that will give players unlimited entertainment. I mean heck, for $30 I have about 5000 hours of entertainment racked up in Smite 1. If you go to the movies these days it will probably cost you that much for only 2 hours of entertainment, so if you got 2 months of entertainment then I think you got your money's worth.

Most of my gems are in Play Station but I switched to PC. Will I still be able to attain the gems I bought from PS on PC with 2x legacy gems?

Not sure, but as long as you are 100% that you linked your accounts then there shouldn't be an issue. I would recommend asking the Smite team directly via their website, Twitter or discord. That way you get it directly from them. And if they say yes, make sure you screen shot their response or save their email just in case it doesn't and you have to prove they said it would.

No, not unless they decide to add cross progression between playstation and pc. If you were on Xbox then you'd be able to do it but not with PlayStation

Hirez will give you 1 or 2 legacy gems (depending on your package) for every gem you have ever spent in Smite 1. Legacy gems will give you discounts on purchases in Smite 2.

Good video. Legacy gems are actually not them doing u a favour. Skins used to cost 400 gems. Now they cost 800+ gems. So even with this coupon u are basically still paying full price for the skin. These business practices make me not wanna support smite 2 even though I played smite 1 for 12 years. Also if u buy a god pack u are just shooting yourself in the foot anyway because u are destroying yourself enjoyment of unlocking these gods ruining a form of progression. We already barely have any progression in smite. No ranked rewards, no chests for winning games, no rewards for achievement points..

I think (speaking for myself) that the ultimate God Pack is a very good value and if noone was to get it then the games would be very boring as everyone would be playing the same gods in every match. That's what is so cool about the freedom of selection, if you want to buy a God Pack then you can but and if you wish level up and buy gods with favor then you can do thst too. To each is their owen, in my opinion there is no wrong or bad way of doing so.

The legacy gems are sooooo scummy. It would be a waste NOT to spend more money to use them. And for just $30, you can double the legacy gems!.... But in reality if they get you to buy the 2x gems, they've got you hooked to spend double what you did in the first game just to use them up. And if you don't spend them all, they still got you to put more money into the game to get them and the temptation to use them will always be there. Is Little Timmy who spent $25 in Smite gonna buy the founders pack to double his gems? Probably not. Is the person who spent $1000 going to? Absolutely, that's only a fraction of cost for ALL THAT VALUE. Now they've locked down all the big spenders and people who are hooked on lootbox mechanics and trapped them into "needing" to buy skins to use up their exclusive discount. Whoever came up with the idea should get a promotion, because it's absolutely disgusting how appealing that founders pack still looks even knowing all that. And they even spun it as goodwill to their dedicated playerbase to top it off...

@@speedlimate How damn entitled can you be? You realize Smite 2 isn't just a modern port - it's an actual brand new game on a new engine. The fact that _anything_ from Smite carries over is a godsend from Hi-Rez. I get the paranoia surrounding in game spending, but Hi-Rez isn't like that. I mean it when I say that Hi-Rez has spent over 10 years proving to be one of the most open and transparent game studios I've ever seen. Maybe that changes with Smite 2, maybe not. Either way, this company has more than earned the benefit of the doubt. Stop complaining about cosmetic crap and enjoy the fact that you can buy a game in 2024 for 30 bucks and _every_ character auto-unlocked forever.
