Honour Mode in Baldur's Gate 3 introduced legendary actions for some bosses. This video shows you what the legendary actions are and how to deal with the bosses in Act 2. There are of course other ways to take on the bosses in bg3, what's here is to show you general ideas and tips on how to beat them.

im at my third honor mode attempt (first time i died like a dumbass against gnolls, second time against Kar'niss), im almost at the end of act II and i'm VERY scared of Myrkul. like oh my god im terrified

I did the opposite on the roof of Moonrise Towers, I focused Ketheric first and took him out before he even got a turn 😅 TBH I was more scared of his Paladin Smites than his legendary action.

Balthazar is super easy. When you get to the fight in front of his door just dash over and unlock the door. It’s DC 30 but that’s not too hard to pass. Then everyone inside the room gets dragged into the fight, and Balthazar will have to fight everything spawning in from the portals. You can even hit him without him turning hostile if he’s about to beat all the justicars.

you can get flesh as a summon and just kill him while in combat with something else and go back for bal

Funny. I usually do full range groups so these mechanics rarely come up. Neat stuff. Hadn't seen the Gold one.

Spirit guardians against oliver makes the fight trivial, just make sure to kill at least one shadow from distance before watching they come to the "meat grinder". Also, make sure that your single target damage kills the owlbear shadow quickly.

My swords bard sucks big time i honour mode as it misses about seventy percent of the time, sadly Astarion as a rogue one/ five gloomstalker also seems to miss attacks far too often. I am about ready to give up on honour mode. This is my fourth attempt and I am ready to admit I am just not good enough.

just run easier builds. swords bard really becomes good at lvl 12 and astarion is only good in certain situations where you can hide and kill off enemies

@@Niklas-bk2rd that is not what other players say but I will take your word for it. I was following a build guide by a KZbin content creator and was thinking it was me not the subclass that sucked.

You have to assemble gear that increases your chance to hit. Magic weapons, 16+ main stats, Bless, Oil of Accuracy, the Risky Ring, Blinding targets (clouds, familiar, Spell, etc.) Acid on target to reduce AC. If you can't hit then you can't damage them. After you're able to hit them then worry about damage. This applies to all ranged and melee builds.
