The bosses included in this video are the enemies that have a legendary action in honour mode that is not in Tactician mode in Baldur's Gate 3. I did not include the steel watch boss because it's the same as in Tactician Mode, plus I didn't have a save file copied at that point in my honour mode run!

For the Sarevok fight you don't even need to use Arcane Lock, if you just close the door the guards won't join the fight anyway. And for the Raphael fight, Yurgir will automatically join you if you helped him kill the last Dark Justiciar in Act 2. Also I discovered that Barbarian Tiger's Bloodlust bypasses Sanctuary, so Viconia didn't even get a turn for me and died with her Sanctuary still active (which was kinda funny).

You can also just kill the Death Knights before. The Tribunal will not be hostile.

another thing about cazador is if you just shoot him first and don’t talk to him he won’t take Astarion (assuming your bringing him) and he won’t actually use the ritual for buffs

One additional caveat to this is that, as of current patch: while this DOES prevent Cazador from starting the Ritual out of the gate, if Astarion gets too close to him, he'll start the ritual and snag Astarion mid-combat. I learned this the hard way, after almost everyone had already used their resources on round 1; freaked me out, but worked out OK due to my army of summons!

@@CelestialRinn lol, for me it was really funny. I've started the fight the same way, so no ritual. He just run up to Astarion and shoved him off the ledge. Basically, plot-wise, if it wasn't for resurrections / etc he just locked himself off ascension. To be fair, truly locked off ascension he became after my fire sorcerer turned him to ash in 2 casts of scorching ray. Felt really unfair. Didn't know I was playing the fight on easy mod (without ritual), tho to be fair it wouldn't have saved him from scorching rays

idk if you're talking about some specific way or if they patched it, but i always just sneak up on him and shoot, but after the fight starts i'm forced into the cut scene where he does take Astarion. But i have a way around that too, i send a person to the place where he'll be held using potion of invicibility and wait there (out of ling of sight). And when the cut scene is over that person is out of combat and i can easily free astarion and he's in from the very beginning, and as a bonus the enemies are surprised.

I'd like to recommend the complete nonsense that is the Surgeon's Subjugation Amulet. It's 2 turns of paralysis on crit against a humanoid (once per long rest), and Luck of the Far Realms or the Killer's Sweetheart for guarenteed crits. The paralysis doesn't have a saving throw, so it's incredibly strong versus any of the humanoid bosses in act 2 or 3.

18:31 I believe during Act 1/2 when you encounter Raphael out in the field he has 865HP instead of 666 in his devil form. Regardless though, great video! Appreciate everything you've done to cover these bosses for Honor mode.

I like to approach the Cazador fight by bringing Astarion but leaving him at the door when I talk to him. Then, I choose the persuasion option to convince him that I'll come back with Astarion and just use the opportunity to position my characters in strategic location, after which I'll just hit him. Once he's in combat, Astarion can join in with some sneak attacks! This way, I get the best of both worlds: easier fight AND closure for Astarion.

For Raphael, I recommend putting smoke powder barrels by the pillars and linking them with grease bottles, firewine barrels, etc. the pillars are weak to force damage so 3 barrels at each pillar takes care of them. Also helps wipe out many of the adds.

If you put Daylight sphere on Cazador arena it will stay after the fight and bug out the following cutscene with other vampire spawns after Cazador is defeated because this sphere cannot be removed and the spawns are also sensitive to daylight so they will run off asap. It's much better to apply Daylight to a weapon used for this fight and unequip it afterwards.

For the Orin fight, the 'chanters' are not immune to debilitating effects. Hypnotic pattern will hypnotize them and end the chanting. Black Hole near the central altar and Hypnotic Pattern immediately after can cancel them all, with a bit of luck.

kinda overkill. With my fighter, I was able to yeet most except 2 of them off the platform. Only took 1 turn.

One thing not mentionned, abuse globe of invulnerability, definitely the best spell/scroll in the game, make all fights a breath.

For some reason I was able to use Hope's divine intervention repeatedly during Raphael's fight. I put everyone under the globe of invulnerability and after Hope's divine intervention Raphael was using a stun ability on her

Huh, I didn't use her divine intervention after my first time through the game. I guess it's a bug considering the description of the ability.

Yeah, I did this yesterday as well. Oddly when the fight started Karlach fell through the map and died. I had smokepowder barrels by each of the pillars, put everyone in an invulnerable globe, and had hope spam the divine intervention damage ability. Fight was super easy.

Hope's divine intervention can be cast 2 times from my experience.

A summoned air myrmidon can use it's Raging Vortex ability to put a zone of silence over the counterspell minion in the Sarevok fight. The 2d8 damage will probably never kill it, but it'll silence the NPC. If initiative works out, you basically guarantee Illasera can't counterspell your next spell because she'll be stuck in the vortex between those turns.

I let my Dschinni always make the 1st attack vs Ansur, since the Dschinni ist lightning immune. The Deva is better in most other fights, but I like the Dschinni for its mobility, just like the Elementals with their jump.

I just finished honor mode and it was such a pain the butt its not even funny, but i got the golden dice so it was worth it, but i will probably never make an honor run again😂 i hardcore cheesed the brain fight with greater invis and protection scrolls and i just owned it in like 2 rounds😂 but your previous vids helped me a lot, especially with orin! Thank you mate, keep up the quality content!🎉 Edit: somehow the game is bugged and i didnt get the honor achievement, nor the golden dice

I see your video and your characters have many characteristics next to the image Hopefully in my game you only see the ritual of talking to animals how do you do that? How do you get so many features? potions, or choices that give you a buff in the game? and that you take half the life of a demon with an arrow, my god

No i found out the hard way. But my "cheese" was that everyone travels invisible exept for one, so all enemys focus one and are distracted and than we just went for the crown and got one in, who exploded it in one turn

the Cazador and Viconia fight were easy af with my ward bonded fighter. Raphael's hellfire fireball to the face wasn't fun though.
