Would love it if they brought back old events like the Continental Circus with all the minigames. I miss the mystery of the world. Post EW it does feel like all the curtains have been pulled back, we've seen that the Wizard of Oz is just a normal man. Maybe the answer is that the WoL needs to get sent to another world entirely. Wipe the slate clean and make us find our way fresh all over again. Not necessarily even another shard. Something bigger/outside of Ascians.

I missed out on the XIII and Shantotto events years back, as well as a few events that first year 2.0 released. I would love to do them with no rewards given. If they can do New Game+, they can add them. But about the crappy event stories, that is how I feel about DT’s. Just lazy writing to get it over with. The fact I could speed run with alts through the events in 5 minutes time is just sad.

i just wanna know why zenos isn't available in the npc glamour menu i wanna make him do the manderville yoshi p pls. that rando from the Eureka Orthos unlock quest is in there, where the fuck is zenos!! like i agree that the events are frustratingly low effort these days, but given Square Enix's apparent allergy to reinvesting in their cash cow game and giving them more staff to work on things (pvp still doesn't have a dedicated team, for example) they kinda pick and choose what to phone in and i'd rather it be the seasonal quests than stuff like the relic and reward systems getting quarter-assed again. hell, by the look of chaotic alliance raids they've absolutely learned from their fuck up with the critereon dungeons, though it remains to be seen if we're getting more of those and if they'll get similarly buffed incentives. it's dropping relevant gear, rewarding newbie participation, no weekly gates, bonus times, that's cool as hell!! i barely even do synced extremes and i'm eyeing the chaotic rewards they showed us, which wasn't something the critereon rewards could've done since i just bought what mounts i wanted off the market board.
