‼️Warning‼️As of version 1.19.10, this does not work. You can still try it, but of the 5 time I have tried it he broke the obsidian and escaped.

I have used your method before and it worked great, but I have been trying to do it in 1.19.1 now and the wither keeps escaping no matter what I do. Luckily I took your advice and tried on creative first. I'm on the West side and in the correct position. I even tried reinforcing the perimeter with all obsidian, but still no luck. Help!!!

Almost died to the Wither because as soon as he spawned, he blew up the obsidian and flew away. I only survived because I had full protection 4 netherite armor and I jumped into the portal quick enough. I'd suggest you relook into this design, the wither can easily destroy obsidian

This video was maybe made on 1.19.2 version. I'd suggest you do it again on the 1.19.10 version who came out about 3 days ago (July 12, 2022)

This really helped me obliterate the nightmare that is the Bedrock Wither. Couldn't beat this guy with 9 Strength II potions, 5 enchanted apples, fully enchanted netherite armor and a Smite V netherite sword.

Worked the first time then every other time I tried it the wither got loose (it's currently loose in the end). Watched the video back a few times and I did exactly what it's said. Not sure what I did wrong but this method may not work anymore.

Warning in 1.19 wither can destroy obsidian easily so dont try it in your survival or else you regret it.

For those who aren't aware, if you mess up and The Wither escapes just change your game mode to Peaceful. This will cause the Wither to despawn.

@@nathanielweis7664 I'm not sure, but I believe any skulls that were shot prior to despawn that went through the portal would cause minimal damage to world spawn, a few blocks to a 3x3 area or so. Other skulls I'm not sure if they despawn too or not, I always set it to peaceful immediately when I noticed the Wither was off his mark and wouldn't be stuck. Always a good idea to make a world backup before you try this.
