It works on bedrock 1.20. Just built it. I was getting pushed forward instead of up. I guess some mechanic changed. But read through the comments and @sstragnger_ was right. Place a slab in front of you and then do the same for the block above that.

Love the simplicity of the tutorial. For those looking to make this and are wondering about dimensions. I recommend a 7x7x5 area with a 2 block space from the top pistons and then just fill it in when youre done. Also, 1 tick delay repeaters are when you just place it and dont increase delay. And then click once for 2, twice for 3, and three times for 4. Hope this helps

Finally a working flush door in Minecraft, instead of adding the extra repeater I kept it slow and moved the lever inside, so I flick the lever in my base and speed out before it closes and go back in my side entrance.

Unless I put the dropper and hopper wrong this did not work for me. I removed the dropper and hopper, then placed Redstone dust that went towards the right button and ran one lever instead. Whole drawbridge works perfect after that👌🏻
