Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Didn't know one could use sugar paste/fondant in place of royal icing - seems to be much easier to work with. I did note your comment about using fondant that is not too stretchy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills with us. Appreciate it.

Hi Ivette, The difference in the two pastes is that sugarpaste is a much softer paste and is used for covering cakes. Flower paste dries very hard and can be rolled paper thin but is still easy to handle. My favourite recipe is in the book Finishing Touches by Pat Ashby and Tombi Peck.

Hi Christine, thank you for your kind comments, the board is 60cm x 45cm Most sugarcraft shops have them but Surbiton Sugarcraft have a good range of sizes.
