PATCO Lindenwold to 8th and Market EXPRESS ( Rainy )

On the SEPTA 2012 Mid-Winter Trip I was finally able to take advantage of PATCO's restored Holiday week express service to get an HD video for an express run from the front railfan window. Unfortunately the weather was not so cooperative with a light mist generally degrading the shot and requiring that I try getting video of another run before the view is lost when the cars are rebuilt sometime in the next few years. The rain was somewhat made upfor by having a quality operator that laid on the horn for the entire length of the platforms that were bypassed at full track speed. Run is from Lindenwold to 8th and market running express between Woodcrest and Ferry Ave.
Also included is a commentary with Phil N who brought his 16mm Bolex film camera about the trials and tribulations of actually getting film for it.

At 6:05 the buzz means to slow down but, all the operators I asked said that some of the car have broken sensors for that switch.

Hi may I ask you something I read up on the PATCO Trains Systems. Is this true that the trains are non-manual operator control. Are they ATO (Automatic Train Operator)?

They have ATO, but operators just make 1 manual trip per shift and the ATO doesn't work in the rain.

There's one more question I would love to know, How can ya tell when passenger purchase fare for zones of. If they paid for fare from City Center to Westmont, Haddonfield, or Lindenwold how do ya tell, or how that works?
