Was going to pick this up but I don't like how you can see the strap's pull tabs from the overhead camera shot when on the wrist. And when I wear a watch I am always sharing it with the world from above. So no go.

Maybe put this into some perspective. The strap can be ordered without the quick release tabs. The watch is the show, the strap provides personalization and is often swapped for different straps of different materials and colors. So if you love the watch, consider not letting the quick release tabs impact your decision when the strap can be easily swapped out.

@@michaelkalb2896 My comment was complete parody mocking the most ridiculous or esoteric "I would get it, but," comments from people who don't have the interest or the wherewithal to buy a watch, particularly of this stature. I guess I will have to put a disclaimer for the sincere next time. BTW, I have a 5055g-010 with quick release and deployant and I love it as well as all my replacement straps which have quick release tabs.

The designers had to choose between putting in numerals all around or three sub-dials, a leap-year cycle counter and an am/pm indicator. It was a tough choice.
