i very much beg to differ. children pick up on EVERYTHING. their brains are sponges. i mean that’s what the judge was saying. the mother didn’t grow up with a father, and therefore as a child, felt that absence of love. that’s a huge reason why children have issues with their parents: they grow up and realize their parents are human and make mistakes but certain mistakes leave you, the child, scarred because one or both parents were lacking either physically or emotionally.
