Here is the pinned comment, will continue to update it as time goes on. NEW UPDATE: Just to clear some things up, you CANNOT get more Ascendancy Points than 4 UNTIL you get through NG+ / Cruel Difficulty and reach the Post-Act / Endgame. At that point you can find Baryas and Ultimatums that allow for unlocking Ascendancy Points 5 & 6 around levels 70+ and Ascendancy Points 7 & 8 around level 100. The items will say if completing the Trials they offer will grant more Ascendancy points to your character in their descriptions. They are extremely challenging and I will make a guide covering them once I am able to handle the challenge myself (to get legitimate footage of it). This might take some time so please bear with me. UPDATE: I noticed this video has a higher dislike ratio than usual (around 85% likes to 15% dislikes) I am not sure why this is the case, but would love some feedback, so please comment if something about this video is not helpful or not working for you what it is so I can address it in the future. Another tip: if you get 3 bad choices on the first round, leave the room, close/reopen the door. You’ll have different one upon return. Only works for the first room, but every little bit helps, right? 😂

first time i saw him i had the 200% increase skill speed on monsters. dude gave me a one two combo so fast i didn't even realize i was dead. don't even think the "fight" lasted longer than .5 seconds

When i tried to close and open again, that quest item was not there in the box and neither in my inventory, so i couldn't entered again.

I've been trying this trial for like 2 days, maybe around 15 times, and I've been getting exclusively Bahlak, one single time I got Uxmal I thought it was a bug or something, I died to some dumb combination of obstacles anyway... Bahlak is beyond dumb with all the mods tho, half of his moves one shot me, lvl 42 merc with max resistances and 1322 armor 750hp and one time I got him low a whirlwind that covered the entire screen burst me to 0 in I'd say around 0.4 seconds. So in the 3rd day of my game being locked behind a beyond dumb difficulty wall, the only solution I've thought of is to google the most broken builds to respec into. I've been kinda waving off all the people saying this game has some problems, but wow

I doubt anyone will see this. I was nervous to try cause I am in hardcore and never got this far so I waited till level 43. I might just have good gear, don't know, I am a no pet pure witch build. So I went and fought him and did kill him, phew. I was at 6 out of the 7 counters for the ghost debuf so it was a little intense dodging everything.

I just did it first try as a level 44 Merc Grenadier, of course I got Bahlak, as a Merc you just keep rolling around and spamming Oil>Poision>Grenade, nuked him down pretty quickly and just kept avoiding the scatter shots he shoots across the map (can roll through them) and the whirlwinds. Debuffs I got was No flask/mana regen, and the resistance 15 elemental ones twice, and had the shade guy on me as he is pretty harmfull.

Am I understanding this right. On my first playthrough of acts 1 to 3. I can do the sekhemas and chaos to get 4 points in ascendancy. Then when I do cruel acts 1 to 3 the tokens needed for these trials will drop randomly and that's what I'll use to do the trials again and get additional points?

@@RobertJamesYngente can do either of 2 options. Yes, the dropped trial will say if you can get additional points, but for Sekhema - each floor is 1 ascendancy

@@shashanknegi1255 you should be able to go back to any act at any time in the map screen. just click the act in the top of the fast travel selection screen to change locations. if you don't have the quest item. you'll need to kill the chimera boss before going to the trial

Just to confirm, you did both the trial in act 2, and the act 3 trial as one character and got 4 points total from them, right?

yes, each Trial gives 2 Points. After that it seems that you must find special coins, that let run "deeper" in the Challenge to gain additional ascendancy Points. In the Example we see that he only does 4 Rooms to get the points. My Guess is that you get the next set of Points after 7 Rounds and your last set after 10 Rounds. In the other Trial you must find Coins where you can get addition Floors with 4 beeing the Maximum. I would guess, that a coin with 2 Floors doesn't give you anything if already finished the Choastrial

Blood Globules is laughably easy to avoid. You don't even got to roll, or maybe its enough to have just +10 movement speed. I always pick it and never got hit from it.

Uxmal is so enoying as melee as he lands for like 2 seconds than does so AOE I have to dodge then flies away again, basically means 2-3 hits on him per time he lands, insanely bad design.
