Path of Exile 2 OP Sorceress Build: Auto-Cast Fireball Comet 2.0

Some Fan Notes on this build. Works after 0.1.1. Can get a Fireflower for less than 30 Ex. If you're eating FPS drop and screen tearing, there's some graphic changes you can use to increase it, and stop the screen tearing. Grim Feast Record is a little over 8k. Extra Spirit but not enough for Arctic Armor? Vitality, Cannibalism, Herbalism are great filler gems. The build is a blast. You fly through maps in under 5 minutes, faster if you only grab rares.

So i tried this madness :D First of all i changed two gems in Fireball - added 30% movement speed + 40% projectile speed. Then i tested how to avoid this performance lags when tons of fireballs on screen: solution is simple - remove 8 projectiles in a circle and ricochets - Raging spirit skulls appear after some time anyway, so those tons of useless fireballs don't do a favor. And i use top level Fireballs just to have higher Ignite chance, as it depends on damage applied. Faster ignites = faster sculls die = more comets. Next i tried Frost walls and it's useless for me, maybe i just didn't load enough map difficulty yet but for now all melts, including breaches. Total spirit with 65% scepter + body armor allowed to use: 2x cast on minion + archmage + blink + grim feast. Cast on minion loaded with 2x Comets, with 2470 mana, 780 regen its enough to handle. About how i spread gems in Comets: 1st - 40% energy gain + Comet + Spell Cascade + 2 dps gems, 2nd - 35% chance to regain energy + Comet + Echo + 2 dps gems. This allowed to have close spread on activations and its definitely better then to pack one Comet with Cascade + Echo and other one just with single use. Also i pumped Curses effectiveness + took skill to have 2 Curses at the same time (it's really close with skill tree from the video). So i have Sigil of power + Conductivity + Hypothermia on bosses at the same time. About bosses yes, this build can't match lightning builds but its ok. DPS is not that bad, its just isn't consistent as Skulls seems to have delays to ignite bosses or they just can't do this longer. Anyway under curses ordinary map bosses + Temporal is easy. Again this build is something, so much Comets, i wonder if they nerf this....

I don't think we will see any nerfs to this yet or at least now in the early access but hopefully they dont nerf it at all it is so much fun to play. The nice thing about this build is there is a lot of ways to tweak/optimize this depending on the content you plan to use it for but overall it is very versatile. I also played around with the dual curses at one point but finding they arent as useful, since in most cases enemies die very quickly, unless you are targeting bosses then it does come in handy. May play around with this a bit more and try out some of your recommendations above. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

@@Legionerei actually split cascar and spell echo between the 2, and also energy retention and the orher energy based one. Gonna try 3x meteors later today skipping grim feast, as i found it kinda hard to keep max stacks up anyway. Going back n forth between EB as well, having 1800 mana and 6-700 mana reg is enough 2 sustain 2x comd at least, nor sure ebout 3 😅

From Atziris Disdain. If you're using a regular helm you will need to take off eldritch battery.

For passive skill tree, any reason why not to take the 5 nodes to Raw Power? it seems to increase base damage which would def, be better than additoional crit damage,. since it would be multiplicative (correct me if i am wrong)

just uncheck gemcutting restrictions in game options and you will be able to learn as many gems as you wish even if they are alrdy equipped.

how are you using cast on death twice?

There are two ways to do it. 1) there is a setting somewhere that allows you to equip the same skill more than once (or so i hear) i havent seen it myself. 2) this is the way i did it, purchase your cast on minion death twice before you equip the skill. Once you have both in your inventory then you will be able to put both of them on.

I am interested in changing to this build, currently using the ball lightning, lightning warp which is a fun build but I find the lightning warp to be very temperamental so I have been dying during breaches alot as I get surrounded and then my lightning warp doesn't trigger. Very frustrating to say the least but its very good for boss killing with the mega lightning conduit crits. My question is how does this build perform against bosses? sadly both your build vids show mob clear not boss kills

They actually work great against bosses but if you are using this for bossing i would recommend removing atziris disdain along with eldritch battery and replace the helm with something that has ES, Life, mana and if possible tri res. Just make sure you have decent mana regen. Does not struggle with any content so far and can breeze through rituals and breaches also.

Yes, you can use this build with just 1 cast on minion death but having the second one helps trigger comet more frequently.

Hi, thanks for the build, I've followed it for my partner as she struggles with making them, i managed to grab a level 4 spirit gem for raging faces, however i got the unique flower amulet which has +3 to all skills, this then adds the skills to raging faces making them level 7 which is to high and the comets take to long to come down, how did you overcome this and keep it at level 4? As i see you must use this amulet. Much appreciated if you could help, cheers!

Did you also grab the necromantic talisman node on the passive skill tree? The necromantic talisman will apply your amulet bonuses onto your minions instead of you so that should keep your raging spirits at level 4 still. This is what also causes the raging spirits to die faster and also triggering those comet alot more frequently. Hope this helps!

my current build is using Blueflame Bracers to convert 100% of fire damage to cold damage, so i can use my fireballs to freeze and destroy my low life icewalls with spell cascade easily, im also using frostbomb and cold curse for res., and cast on freeze comet. im kinda new to poe2 but i tried to explain. and my question is: is this build better? i see some similarities but the amount of comets raining is insane, i might switch to this later if its possible. im just currently watching all over youtube for similar builds and this one is the best ive seen so far

Yes, because of the frequency at which comets are triggering, thanks to cast on minion and raging spirits, your DPS should go up quiet a bit with this. I will say your build sounds fun to play too but you should be able to clear faster if you switch over.

Getting that 5th socket on Fireball and cast on minion death are hard. Perfect Jewelers orbs sell for 2 divines each right now.

@@kimball4699Definitely not the survivability but I used this build to make a tank variant that never dies. Take a real helmet with resistances and get 5-8k of real Energy shield and I hardly ever take any damage. As it is this build and those like it using this helmet will always be low on mana or resistances which will lead to many deaths.

I have been testing this with a regular helm specifically for bossing and it does work better with something that has high ES, Life, mana and tri res but if you do this be sure to remove eldritch battery from your passive skill tree since it will no longer serve a purpose without the Atziris helm.

I'd recommend 65+ but you can start it sooner if you have the gear. The fireflower amulet is required for this build along with the necromantic talisman on the passive skill tree.

The issue with your build is u die quicker not much survival but other than that is soo goood and amazing build , i hope u find a way that make it good with survival

Easy way to fix the survival, if you are struggling, is to replace atziris disdain with rare helm taking your ES from below 2k all the way up to 8k the only catch is to ensure you have enough mana regen but thats been my go to for bossing and such.

Take off Atziris and your eldrich battery and replace it with rare helm with ES, HP, Mana and if possible tri res. It will drop your mana down a bit but as long as you have good mana regen (over 300) you will be fine. Also, swap out wildshards on fireball for mobility so you can cast faster as you move. Your mana regen is 50% faster while moving thanks to ether flow so that should help with survivability and faster clearing as well.

The first one we use for comet and the second one for frost wall. While you can do comet for both if you wanted to the frost wall helps for 2 reasons. 1) helps with grouping your raging spirits and triggers them more frequently 2) it helps with survivability especially for breaches and rituals.

That shouldnt be happening without wildshards but it can also be certain maps. I experienced that in a couple of maps but it got so bad i couldnt move but shouldnt be happening everytime. Here are a couple of things you can try with game settings to alleviate the issue: 1) Low Latency Mode: Set to Ultra to minimize input delay. 2) Vertical Sync: Set to On to prevent screen tearing and provide smoother visuals. 3) Windowed Fullscreen: Ideal for smoother Alt + Tabbing. 4) Enable Resizable BAR: Enhances performance. 5) Turn on Game Mode: Improves frame rate. 6) Enable Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) and Windowed Optimizations: further enhance performance.

Mobility reduces your movement speed penalty meaning you can cast fireball as you're moving without slowing down as much. The benefit to this is a) you are more agile so easier to dodge and attack at the same time and b) because we are using ether flow your mana recovery rate is 50% faster while moving which we can do pretty much all of the time.
