Would you say it is worth upgrading from a PS5 to a PS5 Pro for this game? Currently the end game in POE2 is absolutely destroying my fps in certain scenario's. Im using a display that is set to NIS, 1920x1080 at 120hz with VRR

@1lPav Hey mate! In terms of frame rates and stability it is slightly more stable than the base PS5, however they still have alot of work to do to make the endgame more stable where there is lots of things going on in the screen! For long term it's worth the investment which I suspect in their full release they patch alot of the stability fixes, but short term there is no rush! Hope that answers helps 🙏 🙂

@Whocares1020 hey bro!! In my video I have a pinned comment with multiple fixes. You may need to switch accounts on the website to the correct account to apply the filter for, or just close the game and start another game, wait 15 minutes and then play POE2 again. pssr looks blury because you didnt bother to set resolution. your screen tearing because you have it set at like 720p. the devs don't need to look at it you do.

First 10seconds. Guy says turn Dynamic Res on to avoid screen tearing. That's not what it does. (It adjust the image scale depending on if the gpu can complete a frame in time. Depending on how its performing it will *Dynamically render a lower res frame. This will cause more issues with image consistancy. IE blurry images. FSR will make it worse. And there AA solution will make it a myopic simulator. Image consistancy with v-sync or alternative like freesync is what helps avoid the tearing do to a handshake issue when the frame timing dont match up with your monitors refresh rate. This games doesnt have stable framerate. So freesync/vrr changes the refresh rate based on fps. Modern gimmic causing more issues than not. Just keep your monitor at 60-120hz) No setting improves much of anything b/c they upscale to 4k after the fact. Having a barebones video suite means nothing if its upscaling without a button to turn it off. B/c of this picking between upscaling solution would be based on personal preference and how clear the image is for you. %1080/1440p has a 10-20fps difference to *no upscale 4k. Only in less crowded rooms. - Bilinear, NIS, FSR (Bilinear uses less resourses. Slightly blurry image. You'll have to use your monitor image sharpness. NIS being the most clear even when sharpness is at 0%) FSR has image interpolation. So it means it will create a fake frame and insert it in between 2 real frames. (Soap opera effect and added inputlag and response times.) Shadows + GI vs just shadows has a 10-fps difference. Being able to render at native 1:1 res and keep it there would improve there performance even before "optimizing". But there arent doing that. Use the particle culling feature. Any build with flames tanks fps. Edit: if you have a 4k monitor, 1080p upscaled better than 1440p does. (You want 720p to upscale to 2k. Assuming the game doesn't automatically have it set to go to 4k. Causing most of the performance issues.)
