If you took all block league mechanics points (which will block scarab drops for this mechanics too) then you can get 20 additional points with new Unvawering Vision for free

i would leave delirium available since you just tap the mirror at the start and move on. maybe you turn it off once you hit red maps and difficultly gets high enough for the delirious effect to actually matter but early on delirium does pretty much nothing but make more monsters/loot.

People are really short changing the blocking mechanic for scarabs and the power of the cartographer scarabs. If you can push in 1-2 days like these streamers, absolutely do the method MB proposed. If you take a week or so, go straight to a currency building setup so that you can progress your gear to help you handle the challenges you face.

It usually takes me 3 or 4 days, I'm not planning to do 30 hour sessions. I never do that but as I said, I don't stress myself. Path of Exile is a Marathon, not a Race. Atleast for me.

Mario is smart by take Kirac things, be like him. I'm going super risk and not doing any Shaping or any Kirac and I'm also blocking scarab drops for the extra points. My strat, being on ssf, is doing niko, blight, and beyond. My thought is blight plays itself so not gear dependent, niko gives packed with energy stats and safe xp in the mines, and beyond for the tainted fusing for an easy 6L

My strategy since the start of the Atlas system is to not have a stratigy.. I´m just going for the league mechanic i wanna farm and just having fun with it, never been an issue with sustain maps or anything like that. GL :)

Does Packed with Energy works for minions? It says "you gain", but I know there are a few exceptions to this "you" rule, like HH, so just wondering... I thought it would be kinda weird to exclude minion players from a pretty generic tree node.

Since veiled orb will be like 3 div the rog is way to go for most of boots 30% ms, gloves, helmet and jewelery. It's nice to pick all notes for pushing atlas and then when you unlock new atlas page you will just take normal atlas strategy for $. You dont need to bother with reset passives. Does mod you can get 1 tier map higher also apply to blight map dropped from blight chest?

I think +20 atlas points keystone is too good to pass on progression tree, going to semi rush that node, picking up one map wheel and maybe jun/niko, should have keystone somewhere in tier 4 maps

I'll be really interested to see how it pans out - I think a lot of it comes down to how valuable scarabs are. A lot of mechanics moved onto scarabs and you could be really screwing yourself out of some early currency by taking it. Or maybe it doesn't matter because the income you're giving up is outweighed by the progression. Additionally 20 points may not be as much benefit as it sounds, early, depending on how close you are to the node on your normal path. If you have to invest 8 points that don't benefit you that much, that slows your progression, and in exchange you only get 12 points net.

@@fang_xianfu lets be honest you wont drop 10d of scarabs in first two or three days, but 20 points will help you so much in progression and setup, that from my perspective its just too good too pass, and then youll unlock second tree propably day 2 or 3

The problem is the 20 point passive is not really 20 points if you are going out of your way to grab it. If you have to waste 7 to 10 points on stuff you don't need just to get it, it is really still worth getting it so early? I think it is worth if you already are pathing there either for eater of worlds. legion or expedition. Otherwis I think it is noob bait.

Gotta be honest , I played the game about 8 years ago and really loved it. Now that I am back after such a long hiatus, the game feels extremely bloated with all these extra mechanics. Wish I could just run a build I like and start smashing monster in maps without considering all these peripherals.

Hello mr extreme, would legion be good with bleedbow ? Cuz with new scarabs we can put like 6-8legions per map in. And even 10 extra rares each legion. I think it will be busted. If bleedbow is a good legion clearer then were set

Each blocked mechanic also increases extra content which should increase chances for niko or harbringer.

I belive this was changed this patchnotes: "The 10 Atlas Notable Passives that cause your Maps to have no chance to contain specific content now also cause Scarabs found in your Maps to not be that type of content. These Notables also now have "Your Maps have +2% chance to contain other Extra Content that can be turned off through Atlas Passives" instead of "Your Maps have +2% chance to contain other Extra Content"." I understand this change as it no longer increase chance for harbringer etc.

Higher chance to get other mechanics that are able to be blocked. For example, if you block legion, all the others get +2% chance.

They do count, you just got to check their rarity. To complete a red map the mission map must still be rare and corrupted. That's one reason the Scouting reports are so nice, cause you can force uncompleted maps and you can force all maps to be corrupted. I always run maps I dropped first, then check Kirac vendor inventory and if no uncompleted is to be found anywhere I check Kirac missions, use Scouting Reports to spawn an uncompleted map for me to run. Then again run any new map that dropped before checking vendor inventory again and so on. Pretty easy and fast completion, only the transitions from white to yellow and yellow to red maps can become a bit harder, if you get unlucky with drops and did not get any yellow/red missions yet.
