A question, would it be legit reason for Dialla to call us not-a-cockroach as a part of a joke, as we never see what the plater character is saying to these npc's? "Hello cockroach" -"I'm not a cockroach!" - "Oh, hello, not-a-cockroach."

It's because Dialla calls the Blackguards cockroaches, and you are not a Blackguard...therefore, Not-A-Cockroach

As a new player, i really intrigue by PoE lore but just wanna go "straight to the killing" when i play, i have beat the game blindplaythrough and watching this left me in awe because how good and interesting the lore is. i personally peak interest when Sin was introduce and like i said, really glad this video exist. I know this is late but you missed out a snippet of lore in the Chamber of Innocence which shows that the reason Kitava is on Oriath is because he invaded the island supposedly from Ngkamahui and Innocence struck him down and drove him beneath the earth.

God this felt like the old familiar bludgeoned-by-a-wall-of-uncontextualized-facts experience of a history textbook. Not a knock on you or the video. PoE would probably benefit from a more focused narrative unfolding of the world it takes place in as you play, or really any competent story telling. I'm also just spoiled by W40K world building. Game seems fun as hell. Lore is a hard skip.

Thumbs down! So poorly presented with run on sentences. Not actually explaining in any sort of eli5 manner. Just blurting out lines like reading from a robotic script. Even if there is helpful info, it's hard to interpret. I had to go look up Vole because of no explanation who that is or any sort of context. There's also lots of lore superimposed that isn't actually part of the exposition as you play through the game. It's fine, but I rather just get an explanation of exactly what I am playing act by act. Currently in act 2. Game is like easy mode of a typical rpg. I'm obliterating everything. But I cannot proceed because I don't know what is going on. Everything went dark, and everybody said I killed some boss who I have no recollection of ever fighting. So I am stuck trying to figure out what the story is before I proceed into the tower.
