If you want fight I recommend bataar Rex use face tank and medium bite and you can win almost anything I fought 3 pachy and 2 sarco and kento and 1 sarco I still able to kill 5 of them and I died after,in my second fight I face to face a Edmonton and still able to win

Oh yeah, I actually have a fresh adolescent rex on officials I plan to finish at some point, hopefully teach some of those players a lesson lol.

@@dtbrex08Thing is, players that run in mix packs on official are pure trash and will immediately swap to apexes when they don’t kill you in ten seconds flat. I’ve had that happen to me plenty of times when on my rex and I always call them out on it lol

I always use resiliant scales, but very rarely use lightweight. Its good but the turn penalty feels like itll put me at a disadvantage at some fights, like against other rexes.

Reason why your stomp didn't work is because you have to be still for it to work. Also use Facetank to reduce your intake damage.

Oh yeah I know why my stomp didnt work, I think I activated it but I moved too soon, I try to move as soon as the stomp “hits” and bite right after to stack the damage even faster, Ive tried facetank and its fun to use, but its also hard to fight really anything that isnt an apex, so trying to single out a creature in a pack to end the fight or even just ambushing can be a lot more difficult.

I was using batarr, so + 3% damage rex, I used to use a speed rex most of the time lol which was the same subspecies as now, which is why I still use it, and alot of people say batarr helps increase the damage of ALL attacks, not just bites, so it helps alot especially solo with lone hunter.

I would say either facetank or crushing bite with normal bite, resilient scales, and until you get used to its turning use both stomp and tail attack, practice your precise movements as youre playing so you can get better, rexes turn in place is really good. After that I would say either use balanced tail and stomp or balanced and strong legs as long as you can face your opponent.

Dont worry about it! My suggestion would be to just remain unpredictable. Use precision movement while standing for the best turn affect if youre playing defensive, and just try to time your attacks right. I also suggest using normal bite, crushing bite or facetank, stomp, and deep rumble for attacks, use balanced tail, resilient scales, and lone hunter for passive abilities. Use whatever sub you want lol, or in that case just build your dino how you want period 🤣, and try not to be super loud lol. Good luck!

Melanistic, I made the colors mostly lighter black until I got to the 5th color option, to make it a little different than just straight black, and also to fit my countershading-habit/color scheme. So it mightve looked a little brighter therefore less noticeable as a mela skin 🤣

I hate when people say official rex is so bad and pt rex is better... Pt rex is easy to play but if you actually practice the official rex's movement and know how to use it is rly good, and I like yeeting pt rexes with official they always think they can face tank it for some reason lol

YES I agree 100% lol, ambushing is a thing of experience, not handed to you with marks lol, pt rex just made everything easy mode, not to mention people always hated og rex for stupid reasons like “its innaccurate and ugly 🤓” well ok but pt rex looks completely out of place with the rest of the roster and has some really weird features, like those eye crests making it look EXACTLY like BoB’s rex, and some weird gameplay features as well, such as having trotting footsteps quieter than a sucho or allo???? Like thats not op at all totally. Not to mention how fast the crushing bite animation is combined with it having no cooldown for a long time.

Basically the main things you need to know are how to stay calm in a situation and which buttons to press at the right time. If you ever need to turn around to get something off your butt, or even in a facetank battle trying to dodge hits, stay STILL and use precision movement. I say still in caps because a LOT of rex players try to strafe or move around with precision, which turns faster for some creatures, but for rex, makes it about twice as slow. Ive fought rexes with strafing precision vs stationary precision and its scary how much faster they turn. Balanced tail is pretty good if you get better at your turning skills, but otherwise use tail attack. Stomp is fun to use but kinda hard to use as well so I most of the time just use strong legs. Resilient scales is way better than slick hide and lightweight, unless youre STRICKLY going to be either fighting raptors (slick hide) or ambushing (lightweight), but raptors by themselves or in a raptor only pack arent really a problem for a good rex anyways, only time I would use slick hide is if youre a baby so you dont get grabbed by crocs. Facetank is good for fighting other apexes, but it makes it 10x harder to hunt anything faster or smaller than you. Crushing bite is what I use, and depending on how you use it, can end a fight quickly, even in an apex 1v1, making it, imo, better than facetank. You might even get lucky just landing a bone break on a small creature, such as when fighting a large pack, which will end the fight almost immediately, leaving you safe with a body if the server has realism rules. Also use deep rumble if youre solo and tyrant roar if youre gonna be playing with a mate, or, actually, deep rumble is still good even if you’re grouped. That’s all the tips I could think of, good luck crushing people!

Face tank rex is absurd. Fought a few adult gigas and I never went below half. That's just too weak to me for giga. I don't think head on they should win but they should have a good advantage with speed and bleed. They just don't, lol

Giga has pretty good bleed, imo giga doesn’t need a speed increase, its turning is already much better than rexes, facetank is definitely good however idk if two good gigas will die to a single rex lol let alone leave the rex above half, just speaking from my experience though. But yeah gigas bleed is good anyways and with the buff call probably gets almost twice as good from there 🤣
