The way we lost the awareness start is by covering it with layer upon layer of man made concepts that we got lost in. So to maintain that state just go back to the knowledge that underlying everything we believe is the awareness that never changes. Is not affected by thoughts in the mind or conditions of this body. The awareness in an unmeasurable unchangeable pool we are tapped into. Returning to this truth melts the layers of concepts the ego attempts to re don.

I will share my little anecdote about seraphim. I was receiving a gong sound bath at the end of a Kundalini class, and heard (in my mind) the word seraphim, which was new to my consciousness. Archangels were familiar, but not seraphim. After class I learned about what they are. 🪽❤

Good stuffs. Thanks. There are various stages of awakening. This stage is I AM presence or Eternal Witness. However, the crucial turning point is no-self. . which is the matured stage of non-duality or no subject-object. At the advanced stage, the dreaming/rebirth cycle can be seen. Cheers.

So, Ramana Maharishi's chosen tactic was to transmit the "truth" to others near-by, rather than speaking words and answering questions. And Zenobia said she was the recipient of this transmission from Dan during a meditation. My question is; Can this "truth" be transmitted from a distance...like on a YT video or Zoom meeting? This would be a great experiment Dan. Enter Samadhi, and transmit the truth to all meditating with you online! And please let us know at ATW if you decide to try the experiment!

Nope... There are a lot of people who think they are awake and are not. I've meditated for over 45 years and never seen a permanently awakened. human. I have met many meditators in the initial stage of observation "mind observation" but this is not enlightenment. Neuroscience will soon have the ability to test these so called "awakened" mediators. Have you heard of stream-entry? Have your learned the jhanas?

imo, stream entry insight does not need to be in a meditation.. but one will likely need to have meditated alot before the experience happen. Typically, when the mind is silenced, there is I am or eternal watcher/witness which will likely be regarded as the source. However, the non-dual nature is not known yet. No-self or anatta is the matured insight of non-duality and that is stream entry. It can happen anywhere.. suddenly no 'i'.. just the action., and then very obviously one realised reality has been like tat all along. Cheers.

Great conversation, thank you! The questions asked were so on point and many of them I didn't hear in other interviews with Dan. It was like copy paste of my thoughts/ questions to the screen. I also recognized so many identical parts of my journey with yours, that I started to question if this interview came on my path by coincidence or it was a cosmic intelligence that goes beyond my understanding.
