KGV performs pretty well as an AP-only Marksmanship battleship as well. You're not going to be citadelling battleships that way, but the accuracy lets you place your rounds where they get good pen damage every time. And, of course, cruisers just dry up and blow away if they show so much as an inch of ankle.

King G highly under-utilised. AP dev strike cruisers for fun then switch to HE to start them fires from hell against thick armoured battleships. Just came off a 200k damage game in this beaut. My all time fave 💯🔥

43….I appreciate your BB play. You didn’t back up & put the ship on a full speed ahead mode! I understand the BB back up fighting style and don’t use it. A moving target is harder to hit in my humble opinion. I love it when a get in a good brawl with another like minded BB captain. Keep the speed up keep your guns towards the enemy and for goodness sake don’t show your broadside to the enemies. Particularly German & British BBS I enjoy the most.

The thing is, for every one good "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" match you get in a battleship, you'll get several where you're punished for being reckless, esp in a destroyer match were the destroyers arn't complete bricks. Because destroyers are easily the most powerful type (in a decent to good player's hands) to the point of being OP in many situations, it's very risky to push, esp early on. This is one reason why BB gameplay is often very passive. Not always, but often. I tend to split the difference depending on how many destroyers there are in the game at any one time, lots of dd, hang back and wait, few or none, time to sail in and crush. Most of the game depends on what dd's do, esp when spamming torp walls from invisible ships that even a single hit can be debilitating it usually pays keep your distance.

i hate playing against this thing, one worse ship is the firespamming Conqeror and Ochakov cause today i was set on fire 4 times in one salvo by the Conqueror. the Ochakov is able to get the best groupings what ive seen for long time (and of course instant fire on a tank build sinop)

I personally think that the king George 5 needs an armor buff what I suggest is making the the green armor( capable of ricocheting 14in shells), dark green armor ( capable of ricocheting 15in shells) but leave the center deck light green to make the ship vulnerable at range.

if you guys don't know how British BBs play we play more of a battlecruiser/dreadnoughts play role ....if you notice most of our BBs have superior HE pen I seen people call British BBs bad because they don't look on the overview perks and plus we have below waterline citadels so close range BBs brawls and you will have a hard time :) ....something Spartan didn't mention

sorry spartan i was just customizing my soon to be new $7,218 desktop with top of the line equipment with an RTX 3080 TI also with free LED lights and $400 worth of fans so yeah i will be playing new games alot it will be my primary gaming PC and this will be my media laptop so yeah going great. edit i have done some changes to it it has the best possible performance i will be able to achive mor than 60fps with and RTX 3080 ti 4tb of storage and 555mb of storage it cost $7,433 expensive

Spartan on the Kansas I just want to state that you will have worse dispersion and worse AP pen and worse per shell Alpha, the Kansas has per Colorado ap pen Alaska has better penetration

I'm really not looking forward to KGV tbh. I got a double citadel on a cruiser with my HE last night in my Queen E and I ust don't see that happening as often up tiered with smaller guns

It may not be as good as QE imo. However don't sleep on KGV it is still fully capable. AP can do well on cruisers and broadside Battleships but the HE is world burning brimstone that hits hard and consistently sets fires.
