Sham, right now I live in Sacramento California. i was 15 in 1990. lived in small village in Maharashtra Karnataka border area. Close to where Kantara story takes place. I can assure you with first hand experience the movie is extremely realistic. I have witnessed the the rift between forest department and local tribals. Cloth's, lifestyles etc are exactly same as what i have witnessed. I am Marathi speaking but i liked Kantara more than Marathi Film Sairat!

After watching Pathaan, here is what I disliked about the movie - 1. RAW in bad light - No Soldier ever in this country will ever go against the Nation. That is the absolute truth, atleast in India. 2. ISI in good light - Don't know what is this love for ISI Agents shown in YRF's Spy Movies. The situation on ground is actually very different. Although I liked how initially it was shown in the movie how ISI Agent cheated. 3. Lack of Realism - It was much more than the last released War.

I think my opinion isi is most successful intelligence agency in world because of full support and lack of pressure from pak govt and military.
