I'm in the process of writing a campaign set in New Thassilon and wow a lot of the demiplanes are important there! Coming from other systems/settings, I was pretty shocked at how much the demiplanes affect the universe outside of them and just how important they are to Golarion's multiverse as a whole. Great video as always dude!

This made me realize that I've never seen a summary of how planar travel works in pathfinder; tuning forks are apparently required, but how does my newly-13th-level wizard acquire one to the first world, or the dreamlands? How common are planar travelers? More to the point, how common is simple knowledge of the planes? Does every peasant know exactly how the outer planes work and choose their god by their favorite afterlife, or do only kings and archmages really know enough to hire planar travelers? Great work as always, I love listening to your lore dives!

I think the short version here is that some of this is discretionary to you, your gm and your playgroup. My 2 cents is that this is GM knowledge (not even really meant to be player knowledge) and certainly peasants don't know any of this. Scholars are likely scratching at the surface of how all of this works, but its largely theoretical to them at this point. This also allows you to change the rules of the planes at any time and prevents players from meta-gaming because "they thought they understood" but they didn't.

worldscape sounds like it would be a really fun campaign or cool location to visit and do a few sessions in with it taking people from time and them being heroic figures of legend you could have a copy of anyone in there.

Today I learned, that you can canonically enact the Holy Grail Wars from the Fate series in the world of Golarion. Now I have to think up a scenario, where 7 summoners (some of which are the PCs) have to summon the spirits of great Heroes as their eidolons via the worldscape...

Uh, imagine you'd summon a caster as your Spirit, and turns out to be the Archwizard Nex! Not only would that be super ironic, but imagine the brewing conflict, if Geb catches Wind of this! You're just some Dude, forced into participating in a possibly deadly battle royale, aided by the Spirit of a (presumably) long dead Hero, only for the still kickin' archnemesis of your Heroic Spirit to show up, putting you at the center of a full-on international conflict!

This is not your fault, but a finite space cannot contain all of the knowledge of an infinite plane. If one in each billion populated worlds of an infinite plane spawned a diety, and you were to write the first letter of their names in a book, that book would not fit into a finite space.
