WTO needs to be reformed and the rules incorporated should be flexible by considering every each country. Population and resource based rules need to be taken into consideration. WTO being ruled and governed by rich countries could be a great drawback and actually very dangerous for poor and developing countries.

This should have happened long before. India and global south should leave WTO asap. Focus on bilateral agreements. India should by default acquire all intellectual property rights from UK as reparation of their colonial atrocities in India. Soon commonwealth countries will follow India.

Agriculture, fishing etc should be based on populations. If WTO doesnt approve of it. Then India should leave WTO. Because in GDP, agriculture share much part and if farmers would be able to produce more, only when they get benefitted from income. Otherwise it doesnt help farmers. They lives in poverty and they can't do anything about it. Inida was exporter of many things to the world. If farmers will gain profit, India GDP will increase and also farmer would be interseted in producing more goods. Especially "North of India" like Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, And north east states. Because south has industry and it can not be put here in north easily in 10 years and north people will migrate to other states or even countries. "Brain Drain" will increase because of poverty.

Leaving should be out of the question. WTO gives you access to the world. What will you get by providing subsidies to Indian farmers if the world doesn't want to trade with India? who will you sell to? Also, all industries will be impacted not just agriculture. If trade reduces then subsidy will also reduce, common sense. So you will fail in that as well. What is this socialist thinking?
