Thank you very much. I was studying the small manual that came with the camera, and although it has a lot of stuff in it, with my 74 year old eyes the size of the manual and the smallness of the camera buttons made it hard to read. This video was a God sent. After watching one time, I was able to set up my camera in less than 5 minutes. Thank you and may God Bless.

Many thanks for this, much appreciated. I'd mislaid the instruction manual, and without it, the buttons and the 'icons' (even if you can see them !) are hard to work out what they mean or do, and importantly; the sequence you need. So this is invaluable. Hope others without the manual , or not understanding it manage to find this very helpful video.

Thank you very helpful video, just a question, when you enter your car do you need to turn the cam on manually? As mine remains on a dark screen when i start driving also waved my hand in front of it as i put motion detection on and it didn't turn on

The Dash cam should automatically turn on when the car turns on. While the car is on connect your cell phone charger into the same power socket you have your dash cam plugged into. If the cell phone charger works then it's not the power socket. However, if the charger doesn't work then it's the power socket that doesn't work. You will need a dash cam hardwire kit for a dash cam to work 24/7. This keeps your car battery from draining. Another hack is to attach a power bank to the dash cam power to keep it on for the duration of the power bank.

How do u change the camera to show the front view and back view again so u can see both.

The message is to inform you to insert a Class 10 Micro SD card. Just make sure to format the micro SD card in your Dash Cam.

What's the difference between the g sensor and parking mode setting?

G Sensor activates the lock file function in a collision and parking mode.

I think the internal battery that saves the settings is dead. You can contact the manufacture if it is still under warranty for replacement.

I went through the whole menu selection process. At the end I can't get it to record. It says to insert the memory card, which was there all along.

Format your micro SD card on your computer, and they try it in your dash cam. If it still doesn't work, try a different micros SD if you have one handy. It can be an old micro SD card. If it doesn't give you an error, then it's the micro SD you're trying to install is bad. Also, make sure the micro SD card is a class 10 card.

Im so stuck 😖 bought a brand new micro SD card as i kept getting an error saying it needed to be a Class 6 SD card or above - thought a brand new one would help but still doesnt work. Cant record at all. Followed the steps to format the card but still nothing. Does anyone have any thoughts for what i could try? Many thanks 😊 🙏

Not all SD cards are the same. A class "10" "U3" micro SD card is recommended. Try to format in your computer first and then your dash cam. If that doesn't work it is probably your SD card needs to be replaced. Try a using a Samsung SD card.
