Pathologic (Classic) OST - Most

From my favourite game of all time, the surrealist, almost dreamlike (or is that nightmarish) world of Pathologic has an equally surreal and unique soundtrack.

The vocals are actually from a Zero-G sound pack which was recorded somewhere in India during the nineties, the exact sample is called "Deepest India Sufani 3"

It's more of a lucid fever dream, like one of those dreams you can observe the environment in detail. I had many dreams that weren't even lucid yet I can remember every detail of the unfamiliar environment. Even the areas beyond solid fencing I peered over. Other times I dreamt of more familiar locals such as my school but everything was more... gritty, like red, brown & black gritty. Like the grass & vines rusted like iron. It's like these dreams warp your sense of age and time. It's weird how your mind can conjure up an entire area of a world with such great details. - This is how Pathologic Classic HD kinda makes me feel. Your character's hunger/tiredness/weakness(immunity) & thirst are like what you feel after waking up and while you dream to an extent. It's world is alien to you and yet, somehow, you relate to it as though it's familiar to you. Like it's your home. Even it's steppe culture feels as though it yearns to include you even though you're a complete outsider.

It is easily the most memorable. It comes only behind the Polyhedron's theme, Mnogorgannik, for me... and upon further reflection, add to that Utroba Main and Stvorki Night.

I think the original sample is Hindu and it expresses not chasing after money because it will make you unhappy. How fitting for a game that breaks "shop" conventions standard in other games xD

l connect this theme with the children since l mostly see them in this district, a theme worth listening when walking long distances. l especially loved 2:05 and wished it would be longer(and have variations). Still, the original has an unforgettable soundtrack.

The best worst game I've ever played. Gameplay and combat sucks and is so freakin bad. But the story and the time always running against you while the odds also are stacked against you. Played it with the Bachelor and I never felt so uneasy and uncomfortable playing a game. Truly a masterpiece, even if its sucks. But thats the greatness about it.

It's like some awful drug. I love it, I hate it. I come back to it more often than I should and when I do I'm always immersed in it. I only discovered it after Mandalore Gamings video a few years ago and honestly, I rate it in my top 10 games, and that's a hard list to get into because I'm very picky.
