Relevant podcast to listen to after having just missed 12+ doves on the opener. Legendary guest to boot.

Why did Seth have to change the subject when Will was talking about his spiritual life? We start the episode talking about how great of a guy and admireable Will is, and how authentic he is.... I would have loved to hear more about his walk with the Lord. I realize the whole episode wouldn't be on that but it could have been dug into more than other things that don't matter. I love Will Primos and I think he is one of the most admireable people in the outdoor industry. It all stems from him being a man of God. Great episode!!

When Steve is listing off and admiring Will's personal character and traits. That is the definition of a true Christian and comes from loving and following and putting the Lord Jesus in your life.

Talking about hearing protection, Dad was always big on ear plugs when we were kids. I remember on a lot of occasions hunting ducks or fox’s when we couldn’t find any foam ear plugs in the truck, Dad would pull out a roll dunny paper out of the hunting box and say here boys tear a bit of this off and put in your ears. We all would, and proceeded to going out in the swamp with roll up dunny paper stuff in our ears. lol, still do the same to this day if we forget ear plugs.

Very good podcast, thank you. I share some Greek heritage with Mr Primos, so found that aspect of the podcast interesting in addition to the hunting and shotgun shooting topics.

Why haven’t you guys talked about the Karl studer situation here in Idaho? I think it’s one of the most egregious string of wildlife crimes I’ve seen in this state. Definitely deserves to be put on blast and I hope they make an example of him.

As a long time fan i never knew he was in the Air Force. I have been trying to figure out the USAF course of fire for the retired 38 revolver i bet he knows it since he taught it. What a great podcast this was so many great memories with the Truth series.

Just a heads-up for the production team, the Spotify version of this episode cuts off a few minutes from the end. I had to come to KZbin to get the rest of the conversation about Jeremiah Johnson.

Learning what target focused vs sight focused aiming schemes are, and how to recognize what scheme you’re in, is a huge part of fast shooting like sporting clays, trap/skeet, bird hunting, practical pistol/rifle shooting, etc. next time you’re shooting a red dot, put some tape over it, open both eyes, and look at the target. This what he is referencing when he says don’t look at the bead of the shot gun.

Shot gunning is like pointing your finger. Take the barrel bead off you barrel. Shoot with both eye open. If you started shooing with a 22LR.... you have a bad habit to fix. Shot gunning is a diminishing skill.
@maviedanslevent15 күн бұрын
that's a very good point. I started as a rifle hunter and feel like a total newbie when walking around with the shotgun. This kind of advice really helps. Two totally different skills.
