I know what you’re thinking., You think it’s crazy and it’s a lot of money and a waste of our time. But in reality it’s not a waste of our time at all. Because it’s not our toe. So this is how I explain to patients what’s going on and why they should not feel guilty for coming in. I explain to them that their body is like a car and every part of their body can relate to part of a car. If you’re having trouble breathing due to cough check the air filter. If you’re having trouble with your right ankle, check the rear watt watt right tire. If you feel really sick and you’re passing gas. Check your muffler. If you’re feeling like you put a lot of energy into something but you’re not getting a lot of output, check your spark plugs in your gaskets. Anyway, you get the idea. I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all and I don’t think it’s a waste of my time as an x-ray tech companies time or waste of the medical bills time. It is completely completely a diagnostic visit. We’re not there to check anything we’re not there to fix anything in urgent care. We assess we apply and we discharge. So if it was me, I would love to know if it’s broken because if it is, I need to be real need to be real careful and wear a walking boot. And also make sure that I’m not using it for the next six weeks. So it’s very much an informational visit and it’s their only for the patient’s benefit. But we, as x-ray techs, need to give them our full care and attention because the better we are with the patient, the better they’ll feel, and better they feel, they’ll get more care, and if they get better care, then they will come in and visit us next time. That’s all I have to say for now, I’m so glad you left a comment and sorry I didn’t reply earlier. I do anticipate making more videos in the near future so stay tuned. Jeff.

@@positioningx-raysperfectly4733 Thx for the reply, Since im going to be the future rad tech, I will 100% respect a patient with care no matter how small their injuries are. It's is their body and they decide what is right for themselves or myself aswell. Loving these positioning vids though.

@@radboy490 Thanks so much for your comment, I didn’t mean to come down on you and it sounds like you didn’t take it that way either. So that’s good. I’m glad for your comment and hope that I changed your perspective a little bit, but I do understand your point of you also. Just try to be positive, which I know you are, and also you can think about it this way and you can tell the patient to make them feel a bit better too. I would say. Don’t worry about coming in for your little toe. It is not a big deal for us in fact it lets us know that there are people in the community out there that really care about their health and their proactive. So we’re grateful to be hereAnd we’re grateful that you’re here. Whatever we can do to help you out to make you feel better and to get you back on the road again. That’s what we do. And that’s why were here. So something like that. I don’t know, everybody has their own take on it. But I’m always grateful that people come in. Hey, thanks so much again for leaving a comment and have a great time. You have picked a excellent future in a career. Excellent career choice. Jeff.
