they dont work normally, there is a great limit on mobility strength and accuracy. Can she grab a cup? sure, she pick up most things, but Can she play a piano? no, se can't do most things that require pecision or strength, besides that there is the sensation of touch, she can almost feel the amount of touch as a normal person would whos arms are a little numb. even after all that she will need to take immunosupressant drugs all her life just so that her body don't reject the foreign arms with diferent DNA and start eating it or destroying it thinking it is a disease, as a result the weaken immune system due to the drugs makes her at a risk of developing a dangerous disease or infection.

@hafsa naseer it's due to the melanin. The donar had dark skin that means his body was producing more melanin than the recipient. Now the hand is a part of a new host which is producing less melanin that's the reason of a changing the colour.
