Mr. Mallick admitted his baby to Desun Hospital, Kolkata under the supervision of Dr. Anirban Basu Senior Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist. Dr. Basu shares with us a case of premature baby delivered outside and referred to Desun hospital with respiratory distress and recurrent apnea.The baby was diagnosed with Neonatal Sepsis with recurrent apnea, low platelets, low calcium, low hemoglobin and feeding issues. The baby was given CPAP which is a form of non-invasive ventilation, antibiotics were prescribed with proper blood culture, blood products transfused and feeding established gradually. Mr. Mallick expresses his extreme gratitude to the team Desun and the doctors who took special care of the baby and revived the baby from the critical condition.
