Hi Netea, I just love these combos so full of happiness!I always start with the baskets and go from there.Most baskets or big pots and up cheaper and can be split.I always do Viola's too yellow and burgundy red, and deep purple.I think yrs ago I tried primrose and I will give it a try again.love all the containers that patio is starting to come to life 🕊️💚

I always buy "summer" containers on sale in the beginning of July and divide them, as you did, they are going strong till the end of October. I paid last year $10 for 3 mature begonias/ impatients pots. I am in slightly colder zone that you are (Ontario, Canada) and I have a problem with spring containers. It is very cold for a long time then it might be very warm fast. I mostly use pansies and they are fine in shade/part shade till the end of June. I think I will add primulas this year. This is amazing idea.

Best practice is to pull them out! The decomposing leaves will off set the Integrity of the container!
