Patna: A heritage city no one cares about

Today on Prime Time, we take a tour of the historic monuments and sites that date back to thousands of years in Patna city. Neglect by the authorities and lack of will by governments have led to these sites being over shadowed by commercial establishments and are slowly disappearing. Why is Patna, an ancient city with rich heritage never given any importance nor are there efforts put to tell the world that this is not just any state capital but one with a history dating back to thousands of years? Bahadur shah was the son of King Prithivi Narayan Shah (founder of modern Nepal).He stayed in several years of life in Betiha of Bihar due to conspiracy in the Nepal palace.Nice to see links of history of Nepal there.

Its true...patna has a very rich history in its treasures but today no one cares about...no promotions and awareness about these things...I am in patna for the last 12 years and was unawre of this 200 yrs old church in italian architectural form

All idiot CM from last 40 years has destroyed the education of Patna. Mr Nitish Kumar came to power by promising people of providing good education but at last after 15 years of his rule ,we realised that he was also one of the idiotic CM of Bihar who is involved in Cheap politics. Deterioration of education in Patna and Bihar has badly affected common people; across all caste n religion.
