I am in US. My father was born in Amritsar. At partition he moved to Pakistan. He always talked about his childhood in Amritsar. I have an imaginary memory of what it might have been like. I always wanted to see our home in Amritsar where my dada Jaan was. Ravish ji had walked through Amritsar houses and gave me a feeling of belonging that I myself could never achieve. Thank you so much for this amazing walk through Amritsar homes. Wish I could visit

See the youngest sirpunch of Punjab is saying that in previous records of his village he saw that fund has been disbursed to build dharmashala and records showing that it has been used too under manrega scheme but ground reality is there is no dharmshala in place in his village. Another PhD student has been doing research on manrega has witnessed in her survey that no person in any village she sampled has got job under manrega for more than 15 days in a year. All fund has been consumed by MP,MLA and lower corrupt system.
