The Stupendium's probably one of my favourite musical artists. They have a few other song collabs with Dan Bull (my favourite other ones would probably be The End Of The Line and the Faith vs Order Frostpunk rap) Even their songs where it isn't a collab are great though, honestly I don't think they have a single song I would consider bad. Amazing. The song was inspired by Little Nightmares II, a horror game where TVs and the signal play a major role in. And you said it yourself, it's escapism, which is exactly the theme of the game.

If you want more insanity type songs from stupendium I would suggest add infinitum, end of the line, or losing my patients. he does have a lot more chill songs but he really does these songs where the main character is insane quite well

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"!
