Sorry to hear that you got laid off. The economy is doing poorly and getting worse. Everybody is hurting so they have to take cost cutting measures. Many businesses have closed and more will close. I've been through this before. I was a licensed professional engineer. I got laid off in 1995 and it took until 2000 to find a job in my area. Thanks to Clinton, unemployed exceeded 25% at that time.
