Golden Knight, the interviewer, who’s white, and obviously comfortable having the conversation, asked him his views about race the entire 13+ minutes. He obliged him. What would u have preferred happen? U like the dishonesty, right, where Black people keep the racism and hate they c people that look like them receive and say it doesn’t exist. After white people hanged Black folx from trees and legislation said they’d be punished 4 doing it, they just immediately began loving them and wanting to integrate schools and work spaces with them, right? Ur parents don’t teach u the history of how ur great grandparents and grandparents treated Black people in this country. U don’t learn nearly enough of it in school bcuz it’s embarrassing. Stop talking about race as if u’ve somehow immersed urself in it at any point 2 find common ground. U just want Black people 2 suppress it and lie 2 u that everything is ok now, even though u didn’t do anything 2 make them whole, and carry on like nothing ever happened. Golden Knight, Black people collectively don’t have the power 2 alter ur ascension in life in any manner. We don’t own corporations or make policy that can prevent ur children from eating or going 2 the best schools or living in the most lucrative areas. The wealthiest Black people r not really in position 2 do that 2 u. The lowliest white person can call the authorities on u and have u escorted from places of business, places of residence or public places, simply bcuz they feel “threatened” from the presence of Black people or people that may speak a different language in some manner. Ur not even really understanding what racism is in totality of how complex and nuanced it is. U think if a dude is not wearing a white sheet he’s not a bigot. If u really truly want 2 understand u need 2 diversify where u receive information, straight up.

They had 43 previous white presidents, 1 Black 1, a douche bag 2 follow him up, and now racism is totally a figment of Black people’s or any people of color’s imagination. Golden Knight, u win. Ur level of understanding the reasons Black folx generally don’t trust u or disengage from seeing things through ur lens is original and unprecedented. I’m in sheer awe of ur insight. we have the best opportunities for anybody from any race. I'm mixed race, grew up in poverty to a single mom and now I'm arguably upper middle class because I worked hard every day. The modern progressive white liberals are actually white supremacists. They view black people as lesser than themselves. They tell black people to STAY where they are. They constantly remind them, and their children that they are at the bottom. When in reality they are not, and have the ability to surpass their white peers. But it never feels that way to them, because of the white liberals constantly projecting their supremacist views.

Every human being on this planet can be racially biased, if not racist. The closest people I can think of we may have to Hitler would be Willie Lynch, Jim Crow, and Margaret Sanger.

Willie Lynch wasn't a real person, at least not in the time period that the letter was allegedly written in.

I’m baffled by the racial animosity when in New York. Fucking hell. I’ve been living in Brazil - a country with a history of slavery and oppression - for over a decade and I’ve never had a problem sharing brews with black people at the bar...people.

I would be very curious to see Patrice’s take on race and politics today. I know he wouldn’t be a social justice warrior but I know he would speak objectively and have an interesting ‘brutally honest’ take. I bet he would have find the far left and far right stupid but have his own unique take on discrimination like he did here.

Patrice might’ve gone into the wrong field, he should’ve just been a philosopher and did comedy on the side. Well, I guess that’s what he did, but I mean he literally should’ve been an academic philosopher. He was an amazing, but extremely fair and objective mind. I love how mad Patrice got for the guy not seeing Rambo lol, that’s classic Patrice.

I think I get what Patrice is saying. The "Tetragrammaton" was the name for God's name because Jews believed his name to be too holy to be said, that we weren't worthy to say his actual name. Giving names for names, so you don't have to say the name is an old concept. Never once considered that about the N-word.
