anthony keeps hammering that "we're just animals" trope as if comparing whites and blacks is the same as cats and dogs. I think we've progressed since this (maybe not him). Human tribalism is obviously quite different from animals vs completely different species of animals. One flock of pigeons is more genetically diverse than the whole human race, do they engage in tribalism? "we're maybe smarter than other creatures, we pulled iron out of the ground, fly in machines but we're still animals" somehow we could do one thing but not the other? Making the mistake that the way the media reports anything is related to basic nature is a BIG mistake, the effort they put into that couldn't be more advanced, its taken generations of very careful consideration to get to this point. Propaganda requires huge think-tanks and so many resources. I'm sure Patrice knew this even if Anthony can't accept it.

Ant showed his true colors here. He assumes that we want to protect "our own" as if all people identify as a member of a particular race as much as they do a family. He thinks he's being a realist by boiling down society to its reptilian, tribal roots and pretends it would be noble to acknowledge our natural inclination for racism. He's just as bad as SJWs always bringing up identity politics - yes we can all be a little racist, but we are also complicated and don't all categorize ourself based on skin color.
@brandonbyes73444 жыл бұрын
Randy Bell But society does classify us by skin color...you can’t understand because American society is built to where you rarely have to think about being white but I am constantly aware of being black. Your use of the terms “sjw” and “identity politics” proves my point. Nothing that will benefit white Americans is ever accused of being either...it’s only when nonwhite groups are mentioned that those terms are used. You say not everyone separates themselves into race then you use terms that do that very thing.

And they turned it around and made it an organized religion for the rich, the oppressors, the persecutors, as which it remained to this day. There is nothing wrong with the teachings of Jesus or Buddha, the problem is that people take from it whatever suits them, depending on their level of mental health. @Stoner Pmx that was a very literal response to what was meant to be a flip comment. I was being glib. I said that to enforce how much greater Patrice would be in contrast.

Anthony had a good point about seeing the event take place makes the impact greater and it resonates with more people. Just look how many black people were killed by the police and no other races really gave a damn but then you saw the entire did George Floyd thing take place and everybody was pretty much outraged. Seeing it makes a big difference.

Nearly twice as many White people are killed annually by police than black people.
@es_three2324 жыл бұрын
@@inkedskindeep9941 yeah but you have to look at proportion of population. Theres more white people in this country than any race. That gap is closing but it's not there yet.
@inkedskindeep99414 жыл бұрын
@@es_three232 so because there's more White people, more of them should die? That's your reasoning?
@es_three2324 жыл бұрын
@@inkedskindeep9941 No that's not what I said at all. Dont put words in my mouth. But if you put 60 white people in room with 10 black people, 10 hispanics, 10 asians & 10 Middle Easterners & shoot randomly who's more likely to get hit the worst percentage wise? Get outta your feelings I'm just speaking facts, I didnt say one life is valued more than another.

@@skylardesmire9585 Prolly talking about the connotation that's been forced onto "All lives matter". Rather than allowing people to take it at face value and allow it to be a universal movement against police brutality & lack of police accountability, if you speak that phrase you're immediately branded a racist with 100% surety, as though you'd just yelled _______.
